I've spent a couple of weeks trying to work out which ones i want for Xmas, I've tried a few and my firends GHD mk4 were the best. I've just ordered them from boots website as £98 but you get free delivery and there are a few offers including extra advantage points Smile took me ages to find them.. search on GHD and then you have to follow a link.. they obviously are trying to hide them
..oo.. just realised i can add the link...try looking here

this is what happened the ghd mk4 were bought as xmas presents
unfortunarely one was faulty and the ceramic pads , literally separated from the holder they melted and did quite a considerable amount of damge to my daughters hair, I would like to know what recourse i have in sorting this problem out

    Hi there,
Want to make sure everyone else is aware of this! I purchased a pair of ghds from ebay, seller had all positive feedback and everything looked ok. Purchased them, when I got them they were great, left positive feedback. After 2 months they broke down, sent them off to ghd for repair, turns out they were fakes!! Lost the £80 I spent on the them.
Was very wary buying another pair but I looked around a bit, then called ghd to make sure the company I was purchasing from were legit and selling real ghds.
Got them from a website called www.jasonshankey.co.uk for £91.49, ordered at 2pm on a Monday and got them at 9.30am on the Tuesday morning!! registered them with ghd straight away to be sure, everything was fine and I'm really happy now. Would recommend that you double check the person or company that you buy your ghds from, the fakes I got looked 100% real, box even had the security seal!!
They are def the best straighteners around when they are the real ones!! xo

I have the ghd salon styler and I think it is brilliant. I naturally frizy/wavy hair but once I have used my ghds I have smooth sleek locks. The only problem with them is they get very hot so If you don't you heat protection they will damage your hair I reccomend l'oreal hot straight.
