Can anyone tell me why I can't get any of my computer burned DVD's to play on my new Sony GX7 dvd recorder as it supports most disc formats. Does it not recognise MPeg compressed Movie Files? If you can help, I would be most grateful. I have used Sonic and Roxio DVD Burning Software.

Does it show up as 'Bad Disc' or 'No Disc'?

How are you trying to burn the discs, are you just trying to burn the vob files or are you trying to convert Mpeg's to DVD?

My DVDs do that to, says loading, but then says No Disk, or No Disk Detected, but they work in my other TV combi ok, One with No Disk Problem with newly Burned DVDs are a Smasung TV DVD / VHS - (UW21J10V) Wont work on here, but they work on my Orion CW1403A combie without any problems, I've posted a message about his elsewhere in this cool Forum.
