    Incredible, I'm unable even to find a single Web page that lists this model! Not to mention a region-free hack or macrocrap disabeling ...
    Anyone can help? Thanx in advance.

    Changing Region code Procedure for GDVD217


    1) Turn on the DVD player

    2) Press the "OPEN/CLOSE" button, let the tray out.

    3) First press the "PROG "button one time, then press the "ENTER" button
    three times.

    ** it would show present regional code on screen then you can press "UP" OR "DOWN " button to set the regional code you want .

    4) The last step -- press the "STOP" button, it will write regional code you set.

    Anyway can I switch off Macrovision as well? Or I ask too much Smile
