DisneyLand Paris, the European home to Mickey Mouse and friends, is one of Europes most popular holiday destinations.
Disney land Paris is vast consisting of two separate theme parks: Disney Land Park and Walt Disney Studios while the original Disney Land is split into the following parks: Fantasyland, Frontierland, Adventureland, Discoveryland and USA Main Street.
Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast is the latest in a list of continually updated attractions at Disney Land Paris which attracts more than 12 million annual visitors. In total, there are over 40 big attractions, including the fairy tale experience: Sleeping Beautys Castle and the simulated space travel of Space Mountain Mission2. You will also find reconstructed movie sets, stunt-shows, parades, discos, restaurants and a golf course.
The entire Disney Land Paris resort includes 14 hotels and 12,000 staff in a 600,000m2 site. Disney Land Resort Paris is open 365 days per year and is sited 32km East of Paris.

Futuroscope is crammed with cinema experiences and special effects and contains all versions of the IMAX cinema technology. This amusement park is based on the best-selling stories of Asterix by Albert Uderzo and René Goscinny. Launched in 1989 about 35 km North of Paris, in Plailly, Parc Astérix soon became the most popular amusement park in France until the arrival of Euro Disney. This fun park includes the biggest wooden roller coaster ride in Europe and the Goudourix, an impressive loop the loop roller coaster. Restaurants, shops and shows complete the impressive line up. Parc Astérix has limited access from April to October.

Puy Du Foy celebrates history and the great outdoors in the beautiful setting of the French countryside. Visitors can explore vast gardens and permanent historic displays in a site covering over 30 hectares. There are also regular shows timetabled throughout the day and night.
A huge medieval fort and a 6,000-seat Roman amphitheatre are some of the recreated settings where you can witness impressive special effects. At Puy du Fou you can watch Viking invaders, swashbuckling musketeers, live chariot races, siege warfare, gladiator fights and wild animals displays, including falconry. The Grand Parc also features a Water Theatre, a Renaissance Garden and a recreation of an 18th century village.
Among the other attractions is a 100 acre forest featuring hundreds of exotic animals. Puy du Fou is most famous though for its special summer entertainment: Cinéscénie. This two hour pageant rolls back 700 years of history and is the biggest outdoor entertainment in Europe with a cast of 3,000.
Puy du Fou is about an hours drive South East of Nantes and three hours from Paris. Opening times and the timetable for the variety of shows varies throughout the year so check carefully with the park before you visit.
