The HTC S620 (aka Excalibur) smartphone takes the hugely popular form factor of the Blackberry and wraps it around the Windows Mobile 5 operating system. A concept that makes a lot of sense; Outlook users can now not only have their email pushed to their device but also their contacts, tasks and meetings, as well as all the usual synching and smartphone functionaility you would expect from a Windows smartphone.
Businesses and organisations with existing Windows based infrastructure should seriously consider a device like the HTC S620 against the Blackberry. Whether it will make an impression remains to be seen but the device certainly deserves a chance.
