Good Points: The gun is awesome.

Bad Points: It took awhile to get sighted in but once it was set it has been very accurate. I love it.

General comments: My dog spotted a squirrel out back. It ran up a tree. I grabbed the rifle and on my third shot, rolled it right out of the tree and old Jake grabed him just after he hit the ground. I can't hardly wait for the opportunity to bag the next one.

This is the first break barrel I have every own. It took a lot of practice and a lot of reading to learn how to shoot a break barrel. I went through a lot of pellets before I came to the right one for this gun, the Beeman Kodiak seems to work very well for me. I also like the Beeman Silver Arrow only it is a little heaver pellet. With the Beeman Kodiak I was able to get a .3 group at about 30 yards. I think for the price of the gun and a lot of reading I'm very happy with my purchase. Learning t ...

I got this gun for Christmas and i absolutely love it. The accuracy is incredible , I get half inch groups at 30 yards with beeman bearcub pellets. The only thing I dont like is the weight of the trigger pull and the rifle. The only way I can accurately shoot this gun is in a prone position or with a rest.

I admit that I am new to this sport. I've never owned or shot a rifle other than a BB gun until now. I too bought mine from PryamidAir as it seemed a great deal for the price. I wasn't disappointed, as it appears to be well worth it. Overall quality of materials and workmanship seems fine, considering that most stuff is made in China these days. Mounting the scope was relatively easy, however it needed quite a bit of adjustment by trial and error to get it accurate. The instructions were not ...

Wow! What a good thing it was for me to return my Crosman Quest and purchase this fine Beeman ss1000 (Dubbed Model 1100 by Wal-Mart). Originally, I was looking to buy a cheap springer to get into this sport and do some plinking/small game hunting. I had my eyes set on the quest and bought it even though it received mediocre ratings on this site. Boy did I made a mistake. The quest was too inaccurate and had many rough edges in its craftsmanship. For me, it had a ~2in. spread at 15 yards. E ...

I bought my SS1000H from Cheaper Than Dirt 6 months ago for approximately $150.00 including shipping and handling. All I can say is if you have an extra $150.00 laying around pick up one of these beauties while they last. Hell, pick one up even if you don't have a spare $150.00! This air rifle is manufactured in China, and compared to some of my other air guns from Europe the workmanship is only slightly less. After buying the gun the only thing I had to do was take a jewelers file to some r ...

This 22 caliber rifle has some awesome power, took a dove down at 50 yards on a windy day, of course he's in my freezer now. I have a RWS 34 but the Beeman SS1000 has slight more power. I shot at targets at 30 yards and the beeman after the second shot within a nickel size group penetrated through a 1x6, the RWS about 3/4 in the wood, using 14.3 grain (benjamins) Diablos. All i have to say this gun is a great hunting rifle, at 30 yards or more.

I find that many break barrels are hard to open and close. This Beeman SS1000 combo model is great on both counts. The adjustable trigger is also a fine point as not everyone likes the same poundage. The scope is also great as it goes very well with the rifle (accuracy and adjustability), where many rifles coming out these days have too powerful a scope or not powerful enough. The mounts are not of common quality. They do not slide back due to recoil. I have also noticed in the past few years th ...

The Beeman SS1000 combo model is one of the best values for the money out there, imo. Most Combos give you a good rifle with a 4x32 weak scope or a fair scope and a lousy rifle. This combo gives you a crystal clear Beeman 3x9x32 or 40 scope and mounts worth $70-$90 and a nicely made powerful and accurate rifle. It's not bad to look at either, though not a R-9 Goldfinger, it is an impressive looking rifle. It's an adult air rifle. Small teens and younger - a rifle this large and heavy could b ...

Beeman SS1000 combo model - This is the 3rd Beeman rifle I've purchased, just got this one July 1st. Already discovered Gamo Hunter pellets are the most accurate. I've got right arm in a cast and I'm left handed but the weight of the gun has made it way more difficult to shoot and the gun is 5" longer than all my other guns, hopefully when the cast comes off I'll have better stability

I recently purchased a Beeman SS1000 over the net from Pyramidair and it was much cheaper that way with their free shipping. Overall this gun is quite decent. The scope and mounts are top notch airgun quality. The finish on the gun both metal and wood were decent but not what i have come to expect from Beeman. QC has gone down. But it doesnt affect the functionality or shootability of this rifle. Its accurate and powerful. Mine croned at 1056fps. All in all if you want to hunt get this rifle. If ...
