    I had my Beeman S-1 for over 4 years and I find it very accurate. I put a scope on it and I can hit milk cartons at 100 yards, most of the time. I am very pleased with the performance for this rifle.I had to replace the plunger in the compression cylinder. It took a little time but with imagination, The parts were quite easy to install. If you can not afford an expensive air rifle but would like a very accurate one, then the S-1 is what you are looking for. I researched many air guns before I bought the S-1 and found it to be one of the best for the buck. Buy it, enjoy it, and good shooting.

    I got the Beeman S1 used at my local firearms store. Paid $100 for it and its been a solid performer. Shoots great and very consistant with all types of ammo. About 150 shots into it the stock got loose and cracked just above the grip. My fault. But I fixed it and refinished it in a red oak color. Came out beautiful. Overall its been a nice gun.
