I bought this model THT2100SB after reading reviews, i bought it to replace Husqvarna 325HD75 for professional use but it is not up to the standard of the husqy, bought it online and i am having difficulty getting spares as no dealers local to me. Firstly it does not cut leylandii as well as husqy, tears and bogs down as engine is too small. The rear handle drags on hedge which means you have to tidy up bits of hedge pulled out by handle. have several Tanaka machines in my inventory and most are or have been broken or repaired. Hedge trimmers, gearbox broken. Chainsaw auto oilers do not work and have replaced a few times, same with the gearbox problem on gas trimmer. No more Tanaka for me !

The Tanaka THT-210 is a good intermediate hedge cutter for the enthusiastic, amateur or the small time professional. However, my true loves come from the Stihl range. My friend broke the back of his and replacement... (read more)

If you run semi-synthetic two stroke oil you can switch to 50:1 ratio, and save your lungs.....as for the bar breaking,no hedge has ever broken it.If you treat your tools like that you will have to pay!

I think you are getting confused with your models, you cant fit attachments on a THT210.You must be writing about either a TPH2501 or TPH2510 pole hedgecutter.
