    Good Points: Price- great value! Illuminated reticle model is handy. Came with a sun shield. 3.5" of eye relief is nice on heavy cal rifles. Large range of magnification. Easy adjust focus.


    Bad Points: Made in China. Scope had numerous paint chips and marks right out of the box. Lens caps are very cheap plastic.


    General comments: Glass in the Simmons Aetec 2.8-10x44 is clear & crisp. Good looking scope and seems to function well. Large objective lens for low light conditions.

    I have this Simmons Aetec scope on my deer rifle and I like it. Because I can use it anywhere in my homestate of Georgia where in the mountains most shot could be taken with a Traditional ML with Roundball Loads. To where in South farmlands you can shoot as far as your limits go. This scope is great and I would recommend it to anyone.
