Good Points: Incredible warmth and projection. Rarely worn by others. Lasts a long time on the skin. Uniform fragrance throughout.
Bad Points: Pricey and hard to find.
General comments: Maple like sweetness with a salty aspect.

I've tried Annick Goutal Sables a few times now and the result is still just plain syrup. It smells oddly similar to (but better than) Serge Lutens Santal de Mysore with a hint of Ambre Sultan. Very "maple syrup," and I'm just not very keen on those types of fragrances. It has great sillage and lasting power, but for a fabulous amber I suggest Hermes Ambre Narguile. It's the most beautiful amber around.
