Good Points: Good design, attractive.
Bad Points: None.
General comments: The Ixus II is a joy to use. It's smart, fun, with lots of features including recording short movies with sound. It fits into the pocket and the rechargeable battery life is very impressive. The quality of the 3.2 megapixels is good enough for most uses and the software supplied is adequate (though not stunning) making downloading fairly easy. It is up against tough opposition and prices seem to be falling all the time, so in a sense it's never a good time to buy a digital camera. But find a good price and you won't be disappointed.

i previosly owned an digital IXUS V. although i loved the camera i always thought there was much room for improvment. the IXUS II is exactly what i was hoping for. it's a great little camera handy for the happy snapper type like me. many pros would find fault in it no doubt but then they should realise that the camera is not aimed at them. longer battery life is one plus, finaly a speaker built in, cmamera customisation and 10x replay zoom are just a few of the advantages this camera has ov ...

The Canon Ixus Mk II is a nice small APS camera. The zoom lens is not one of the best. It is a "HYPE" camera, there are better APS camera's.

A very nice APS camera which takes a good photograph, be it racing at Brands or family portraits. Light and compact and very easy to use. The facility to add time, date & text to the back of the photograph is very useful and easy to complete.
