Bad Points: On the other side of things being a mechanic the 406 Turbo is an absolute pig to work on.
It almost seems like Peugeot just didnt bother when it came to designing this car with regards to mechanical repairs.

General comments: This model the Peugeot 406 2.0 8v turbo is very underpowered giving only 150bhp it makes for a rather slow car. However with a few tweaks power can be brought to 200bhp and a lot more fun.
A very easy car to drive with loads of space inside.
The trim and spec is up there with c class Nercedes and 3 series bmw models.
With electronic adjusted seats with memo settings cruise control and an Air con system that is that good it has its own ECU (electronic control unit).
Overall a very good car with impeccable handling and ride comfort as well as a super quiet cabin, making it a thumbs up from me.

They're cheap and they're quite entertaining to drive. Everything seems to fit together well which is why everybody has one!!! It's not the very best in the range but is one of the best for the money. I bought a five year old one that was perfect for £1,000. If you want to spend a decent amount you still won't get a much better car in this range but you will appear more human. In a 406 you look like a mindless robot that's just picked a logical choice with no passion, no pride and no i ...
