This gun shows how conservative the shooting world is - such a gun should have set trends, yet it remains a one off product from a single company. The interchangeable rib is fantastic and the inertia system pioneered by Benelli is so simple, reliable and fault proof, it puts the gas operated guns to shame - it is like arguing whether a shotgun should use shells or should use flintlock!! The Benelli Centro is an excellent piece of kit. It is so funtional and such a flawless design that one wonders why the design has not been copied. It has changeable ribs so that the gun just changes characteristics as its owner's use changes, has excellent pointability and never failed except once after over 150 rounds ( a full day at the range!) My only gripe is that Benelli could include more choke tubes than the 3 that it comes with. Overall excellent gun!! (read more)
