When I saw the Sony CMD-J6 in the shop I thought that it was an excellent purchase packed full of features, how ever after only a few days with the phone I quickly began to hate it. My first problem arose with the charger, it took mins of fiddling for the charger to deliver power to the phone and it then seemed to stop and start charging at random. I brought the phone back to the store only to wait for 10 days for the phone to be repaired only to arrive back with the same problem, in the end the ...

The Sony CMD-J6 is the best and most user friendly mobile phone ever made (and I've had loads!). There is no quicker phone to text on, and that includes all the latest models. If you don't need pop3 email and are happy to leave the cameras and colour screens to the kids, AND (crucially) you hold the phone in your left hand, this phone is THE BUSINESS. I love mine and wouldn't swap it for any other phone.

I bought my CMD-J6 almost one year ago for £80. After a few seconds test driving the unit in the store it soon became apparant that it was the most user friendly phone I'd ever handled. Some right-handed folk have complained about the jog dial on the left side, but I find it suits me perfectly. I'm right-handed and am able to use the phone perfectly well with my left hand, scrolling through options with my thumb and selecting them by pressing the jog wheel. The reception on Vodafone has be ...

Sony J6 is really cute and light weight instrument. I like its features and usages. When I see it lying on the desktop of my friend I decide to purchase brand new J6 instrument.

Only limitation is ringer. It's Ringer is very slow. You are not able to hear ring when you are on the road.

Well, i've got a sony J6 for about 4 days and i can't stop looking at it ... it's so beatiful !! The jog dial and the slider are really a genious thought, it's comfortable when you use the left hand, but for righthand it's not that easy. The worse in the phone is the vibration, which is not a real vibration but a sound, that the people can not hear; the low ringtones volume and that vibration and ringtone can not be used at the sametime ...
But except that the telephone is really cool, the best ...

I find this phone a very easy phone to use, it's simple way of locking the phone is ingenious, the graphics of the menu system are great, sure things have moved on since this phone was released but thats natural progression... it's scroll technology on the side of the phone to make your way around the menus is great, i'd recommend buying this phone....the only down sides I have with mine is that the battery power of mine isn't great and I find myself recharging it quite a lot, but I think that i ...

    The problem with my Sony CMD-J6 mobile phone started with the jog dial; date and time automatically resets on switching off and on;
Talk time and standby time has deteriorated.

The Sony CMD-J6 mobile phone is really cool. It is not too small, but you'll never say that it is big, so it is a great phone for a man. It weighs only 82g, which is really nice. The battery life is good enough - about 3 days (I don't turn it off). If you have a good personal style, I'm sure you don't like those pop Nokia (32**, 33**,...) phones, but you'll love this Sony phone. The display is amayzing. You may use the wallpapers in the phone, but you can download yours (if you have a data cable ...

My Sony CMD-J6 mobile phone has good reception, good battery life, cool features and is easy to use. My friend got one and showed me it, i used it for about ten minutes and i wanted one, so i went out to get one the next day. It took me a week to find one, they are damned hard to find. Price wise, they're a very cheap phone, you can get one for around 90 to 120 euros. Best money i ever spent on a phone.

When you set the Sony CMD-J6 mobile phone to vibrate, it is always too weak so that when it is in your pocket you can never feel it. so i always miss my calls.
about two months after I got my phone, every time someone phones or i phone someone, the screen just freezes and i have to take off the battery to get it working again and then it does it again and again and again.
when you want to record your own ringtones, you have to have the music right up against the phone otherwise you can't hear ...

One of my friends showed me an amazing mobile phone-the Sony CMD-J6. It seemed very good, so I decided to buy it too. The next month, my friend had to change the mobile because when someone rang the music didn't play or he couldn't pick up the phone. I haven't had these problems, I have others. Firstly, the reception is very poor, it usually is one or two of the four lines, using the predictive text, the mobile by itself switch off and on (reset), the middle botton seems to be detached, the vibr ...

I bought the Sony CMD J6 as my second mobile phone, having tired of my first one after finding it to have lost that 'WOW! Factor' which makes you buy a particular phone. When looking for the J6, I attempted to take several things into consideration: -
    1) The phone had to be desirable in terms of functionality and styling (Which the J6 was)
    2) Had to be pocket friendly (The J6 is to some extent-it is light but has an ariel which some might not like).
    3) Have good features which matched Nokia p ...

This Sony CMD-J6 mobile phone developed a recurrent fault with the sim card reader soon after purchase. Upon taking it for repair, I discovered this was not the first such phone the shop had seen with this problem and it does not seem to be an uncommon occurrence... I have since replaced the J6 with a Motorola V50 which I find far superior.

When i first brought the sony j6 phone i was very must excited to get such a cute phone. but when i started using it i found that at the time of typing a message, if a call comes, all the display goes blank and i have to retype from the beginning. also i had the problem of hanging during games and replying to messages.
