Bad Points: Have to watch the torquesteerRequires decent tyres so cost a bit to replaceIf on a bumpy motorway it's like an earthquake. Also if a pot hole or bump is hit then it feels like you've ran into a brick wall.

General comments: The Ford Focus RS 2.0 Turbo is fantastic. It's very stable and brilliant around corners. It goes like a bullet and gets many looks when driving around. The whistle from the wastegate is great to hear with the windows down also ;)

I am a happy owner of a Ford Focus RS for at least 5 1/2 years. Clock is showing 220.000 Km! This car was bought for every day use and making trips (business or pleasure) of course. Not in the dry nor in the wet has this car ever failed me. It's the absolute driving machine by all means with no electronic gismos which spoil your day. Brings a smile on your face every time you go for a "ride"! For all Ford focus RS owners a special tip: This car has actually a water temperature gauge and not only ...

Amazing car. When driven fast you can see it all come togeather, and you can see it was bred from the rally scene. Seats are nice too. 10 out of 10 in my eyes.

I've owned Impreza's and Evo's for the last few years, and I was blown away by what the Ford Focus RS could do! It's just a shame it's not 4 wheel drive, as it's too powerful in the wet, and lots of power is wasted.

I have owned every late hot hatch and the focus wins on acceleration but only if you have the best tyres to keep that torque steer at bay. The V6 clio would win otherwise. As for handling the Focus is the safe bet over the type R due to the V-tec rev limit on the Honda which is worse than turbo lag for exiting corners, the Focus is a dream in dry conditions just like on the game project gothem 2. Golf R32 would kick the focus to the side if there was any sight of rain (4x4) apart from that i wo ...

If you like your sporty cars, with plenty of BHP, lovely handling, a car that you'll never want to stop driving, then the Ford Focus RS is a must!!!
I've never regretted buying my RS, best thing I've ever done!!!
I've been looking for a car as good as this for a long time. You'll get other motors which are enjoyable driving cars, but this has the whole package, especially with Recaro seat, 18 alloys, push button as std!!

Anyone looking to purchase a Focus RS, then go for it as you wont be disappointed.
    Handles excellent and accelerates quickly.
The inside is good, however it is quite basic than it could have been.
No temperature gauge or heated windscreen, but dont let this put you off.
Ford actually lost money making these cars, so they are very good value for money.

I bought my Ford Focus car in Oct 2000 after reading as many reviews as I could about the cars in it's class. And I personally believe that ford paid off the reviewers. My car has been in the shop 20 times in the 18 months I have owned it. Almost always for the same problems. They frequently take me for test drives and then say "man that's obvious, it will be no problem to fix ". Later when I pick up my car I get "unable to duplicate concern." Personally if you're going to buy this car you are t ...
