Thru neck body design Excellent build quality and flawless finish with wood grain oozing through a thick layer of perfectly smooth satin varnish .the Harley Benton HBB4000 is in my opinion seriously under priced . Playability is on par with the original peavey series upon which it was based and sounds every bit as good as it looks . I bought mine because I already owned the original version made by peavey and thought this was a cheap spare it turns out that this reproduction is constructed to a higher standard .
Would have liked to have picked up a 5 string version "hbb5000" but was a bit late for that all gone now. Incidentally it has two band active cut and boost and pickup blend controls and one volume perfect configuration .

Harley Benton HBB4000 - My bass player in the band used to play a Yamaha BB-series. One day he brought this nice-looking thing. Some weeks ago I bought this one for myself, too.

This bass has an amazing sound and appearance. Just look at the shape of the body and the Bubinga wood. The pick-ups are active and are very effective in producing different sounds according to the position of your fingers.

This is an amazing value for money - just check it out and get Sound and Vision. ...
