    Good Points: Sheer brilliance

    General comments: Drove from doncaster to newcastle to see Hall and Oates, they were in great form...managed to get close seats so caught a few plectrums in the eye. Great set. 'Runaway car' and 'So Close' were standouts for me. Played old and new songs from all of their albums, it had the air of a request show, this tour was different from any other because they wanted the audience to dictate the pace of the show. It worked a treat in such a intimate venue, what made it so special was the new feature of being able to buy that evenings performance on double cd just after the show. This made the late journey back a pleasure - a life changing experience for anyone over 35.
