Good Points: Easy to use. BIG 2.7" screen. Takes 100's of pictures on the same battery. Really compact size. The anti-shake technology means it always takes good pictures. Takes pictures without flash. Good video and sound. Lots of tricks in the menu.
Bad Points: Tall buildings lean a bit (barrel effect).
General comments: If you want a camera that takes great pictures but doesn't spoil the line of your suit with bulging pockets, then the Casio Exilim EX Z600 digital camera is it.
It works well in any light, so you don't annoy people with the flash. Set the guide to "Auto" and you just point and shoot. When you get familiar with the camera it has lots of features to make "creative" photography. You can edit the picture on the rear screen. Crop and zoom. It connects to your PC with the supplied bits. It takes SD memory cards, which are really cheap now. You can store 350 quality pictures on 1Gb memory card. It doesn't have the best quality lens, but on a camera of this size it's acceptable. Because it's so easy to leave in your pocket (smaller than a 20 pack of cig's), you don't miss those moments when you wish you had a camera. Battery life is really good. I've taken 100's of pictures on holiday, and I never used the spare battery (£12). The video function is great for when the kids do something really funny, and you can switch on and be running in 2 seconds. It won't replace a video camera, but you can capture the action.
