Good Points: A straight forward no-nonsense phone, no fiddly menus to plough through. Admittedly I was not looking for a sophisticated gimmick laden phone so this suits me fine.
Bad Points: Ring volume is far too low, even on highest setting I have difficulty hearing it if it is in my pocket.
General comments: The Sagem VS3 mobile phone is an ideal phone for someone who is not swayed by lots of frills! One of the other reviewers is wrong when he said that if he tries to send a text message and it doesn't go right away for lack of signal strength or whatever, he has to start all over again. If you compile a text message and it does not 'send' it then goes into draft messages to await re sending.

The ringing volume is really quiet.
Sometimes the text alerts don't work properly, so you don't know when you have a new message.
It responds very slowly. For example when deleting characters it doesn't keep up with how many times you've pressed the delete key and ...

The Sagem VS3 is a good looking phone and the menus are easy to follow.
The ringer, even when set at loud, is very difficult to hear, particularly when in town.
Nothing can be read on the screen in sunlight and very little in bright daylight.
