Good Points: looks smart / was good when it actually worked

Bad Points: not much memory and no slot to add memory.

General comments: My Sagem MYV-56 phone packed up within a year - phone kept freezing when in standby and was hard to unfreeze- I had to switch the phone off by removing the battery each time i wanted to check for messages as when phone froze it meant it was acting as though it was switched off and so could not recieve texts or calls. I was quite a heavy texter but feel this should not mean my phone should become unusable after around 1 year (just under). the phone was a gift so as i did not have the receipt for it etc I just had to buy a new phone.

The Sagem MYV-56 does lots- absolutely brilliant.

after a while my calling packed up i rang someone and it would ring the person but then it wouldn't pick up my voice, the person on the other end would say hello you would answer and they couldn't here you this would happen whether you rang them or they rang you.

Overall ok as long as you get lucky and your caller doesn't go wrong after 1-2 months.

The above reviews were obviously not looking at the same phone either that or the people concerned had not worked out how to use it.

Essentially, the Sagem MYV-56 is a very poor mobile phone! The most annoying feature is the buttons. It is very easy to press the wrong one, and they made a noise even on silent mode.

The vibrate alert managed to be both loud but difficult to feel, while overall the phone was far from sturdy.

Dust and grime built up very easily behind the screen cover, despite constant attempts to clean it off. The phone sometimes switched itself off, and the battery life was far from impressive. The scree ...

The Sagem MYV-56 mobile phone is ideal for even the youngest child searching for entertainment and safety, as it's got an alarm, and it is the perfect size. There are not many bad points, as it is one of the latest phones with new technology included, such as Vodafone live and Java, but the camera has less pixels compared to other makes.

All in all, this is an ideal and inexpensive mobile phone.

The Sagem MYV-56 is a good 3G mobile phone for the price, although I would have liked to see better build quality, picture quality, and ability to make video calls, but as it is within the lower price range for 3G phones, I suppose you get what you pay for!
