A well-made, low action, good looking and attractively priced guitar, though it actually sounds very boxy and thin to my ears. This has it's uses, it's very good for country sounds and slide guitar, and the action is bliss if you play in open tunings. It has a lot of character, and if this is what you're looking for you can't go wrong. But it wouldn't be my first choice for most stuff. The Fender DG5, although not quite the DG-100, the DG-5 is a great guitar to play on whether your going for a nice soulful bluesy sound or a good swingin western (if you like western). I particularaly liked the feel of the finger board, it has a waxy texture so it makes it pleasent to slide your fingers along the neck when moving frets.
However this guitar does have its bad points as does every guitar (apart from the DG-100).
