Boat is easy to get on and off with fairly quick book in/out times and is definately value for money. Booze prices on board and normal (£3.50 per pint). Food is ridiculously expensive at £17 for a meal so dont eat on the boat. The casino is good fun with Roulette and Pontoon and not to forget the Bingo on board!!
The one negative comment I have is that the tannoy goes off from 6am in EVERY ROOM including yours which wakes you up immediately.
Good for a £100 4 day round trip to Amsterdam.

Went for the minicruise from hull to amsterdam aboard the pride of hull.
We arrived at the dock at around 7pm, check in took 10mins.
Got straight onto the ship and found our cabin.
The cabin was big enough and clean. The en suit was small, but the shower was hot.
Entertainment was awful, the singer mimed every word.
Drinks were cheap, £3 a pint. Fags were about £3.60 a pack of 20.
Food was expensive and not that good. I suggest buying your own before hand.
You could pay in both sterl ...- Read Guest's review (163 words)

Word of warning about P&O Mini Cruises, they don't let you get your duty free alcohol before you get off the boat in the morning and you get checked (in UK) for alcohol on the way in.It's a big scam to make you pay ridiculous prices on the bars.- Read ingomania's review (60 words)

Returning from recent trip to amsterdam on a P&O Mini Cruise, Hull to Amsterdam, which was very well organised from start to finish. Amsterdam was a real eye opener but it was crossings on the pride of hull which really made the trip worthwhile ,would maybe try rotterdam or bruge next time and would consider upgrading cabin next time. friendly staff good entertainment excellent food and service. Only bad point was 6.30 wake up call which is actually 5.30 on way out considering time differen ...- Read smiling traveller's review (91 words)

Outdoor cabin was more spacious than I had initally expected and clean. Small ensuite bathroom with shower which was powerful and plenty of hot water. The food is okay and seems to suit most people. There was a good mix of people on board and all seemed to be enjoying themselves. I booked direct from po ferries website which was easy and straightforward. Paid extra for an outside cabin with window but well worth £84 for two people. I would definetly recommend this trip and will be g ...- Read Guest's review (194 words)

Originally we were planning a week in the sun but the appalling exchange rate made us decide to stay closer to home. We opted for this 'minicruise' as at least we would see another country, albeit for only a few hours! At £79 for both of us it seemed excellent value for money, and it was. Docks easy to find in Hull, car parking £10 for 2 days, fast check in. We had an outside cabin, with two single fold down beds. The bathroom was perfectly adequate, with a fairly powerful shower, ...- Read Guest's review (316 words)

Everything was good about the Hull to Amsterdam P&O Mini Cruise. . I thought it was great. I thought we was going to have to be waiting in a queue for ages like you do in the airport but no none of that... all the staff on the ferry are great and they couldn't do much else fo you and it has everything on board you need. Nothing was really bad apart from the rough see even though you could only feel it every so often.. but there is nothing you can do about that- Read Guest's review (95 words)

Very good value, and other than one incident in the restaurant, I will definitely be going on the ferry to Rotterdam again, Friday nights on board are awesome.- Read Guest's review (49 words)

The journey there was lively to say the least! Very good in terms of organisation, eg boarding and arrival times and transfers which are waiting as soon as you leave the ferry. As we only booked one night we didn't have long in Amsterdam, a matter of hours, but was well worth it! Overall was extremely good value for money and will definitely be going again!- Read Guest's review (66 words)

At first I was apprehensive towards booking a mini cruise, thinking the ferry would be a waste of valuable holiday time, however it made the journey a holiday in itself. I couldn't really find any fault with the whole experience.- Read amstercruise's review (117 words)

I've been on 2 trips to Amsterdam in 2007 and absolutely loved both trips, went in August and then again in Decemeber. There well worth the money, you've live entertainment and 3 bars to drink in, there's a cinema and shops to look round, you've choice of 2 resturants and a cafe to eat in, not the cheapest but the food is good. When you land in rotterdam a coach is waiting to take you to Amsterdam and you spend the day there and get picked up at 5pm and taken back to the boat for another fun pac ...- Read Guest's review (104 words)

We have just returned from a self-styled "mini-cruise", two nights on-board, and a day in Amsterdam. If you have never traveled, I would recommend it almost without reservation!
You can travel with or without your car, for very similar cost when we booked. Watch out for special offers - even though it was school holidays, we got two tickets for the price of one!
If traveling as a foot passenger, free parking is provided at the terminal in Hull, within easy walking distance of check-in (we ...- Read SJMaxson's review (302 words and 1 comment)

I boarded the ship at 1900 hrs and I was shocked that I didn't have to queue as you do at the airport. Once on the ship (PRIDE OF ROTTERDAM) I found my room and in it was a complementary bottle of Champagne and chocolates. I thought this to be a very nice touch and a pretty good start to the trip. The room was very clean and was equipped with a good size shower and toilet area. Air conditioning runs constantly keeping everything nice and fresh.
We then went for the evening meal in the ship's ma ...- Read JIM UK06's review (375 words)

The Amsterdam / Rotterdam P&O Pride of Hull Mini Cruise is a lovely introduction to sea travel. The ship has a superb restaurant and entertainment facilities. The shops are open until 11pm girls! The day trip to Amsterdam gave us a taste of the city, and we will return for a longer stay. There are so many bikes, so watch your backs! They are swift and silent! I have never seen a multi storey bike park before. The many boat trips along the canals are great value for money, and they let you see th ...- Read Sallyann45's review (204 words)

I went to Amsterdam on a mini cruise with P&O on the Pride of Hull. It cost only £66 for the both of us, on the current BOGOF offer. As you have probably guessed, the boat goes from Hull and does an overnight sail to Rotterdam, we set off at 9pm, and arrived at Rotterdam for 6.30 our time (remember that Europe is in front by 1 hour). So it does entail getting up very early! We got off the boat and got on our free transfer to Amsterdam at 8am (their time) and arrived in Amsterdam at 10a ...- Read Janine's review (363 words and 2 comments)
