    Good Points: Great rooms, great beach, great staff, great pools, decent watersports centre (non-motorised) and decent food


    Bad Points: Expensive if you're not on the all inclusive package (but still worth it anyway!!)


    General comments: My wife and I stayed at the Tanjung Rhu Resort for 3 nights and it was the perfect relaxing end to a great 2 week Malaysia holiday. Where do I start!!!
    The Rooms - Well equipped and well furnished rooms that we felt right at home in! Only slight gripe would be the a/c didn't seem to heat/cool to the set temperature (but that could just be my own fault)!
    The Food - Really good restaurants and great service. The Rhu was a must. We were on the All Inclusive package and so managed to try out many of the delights on the menu without worrying about the final bill!!
    The Pools - Three nice pools that each have their own merits. Our personal favourite was the sunset pool!
    The Staff - Very helpful staff who genuinely go out of their way to make your stay more enjoyable and you really get the feeling that they're not doing it to try and get a big tip from you!!
    The beach - Great white sandy beach in an enclosed 'cove' with stunning views. During the right season, at low tide there is a sand bank that stretches out into the water which you can walk along.
    Watersports Centre - Good range of non motorised watersports activities (included in the All Inclusive package) to try out. Also highly recommend the Mangroves tour!
    If you plan on hiring a car or scooter to explore the island, I advise you to take a taxi to Cenang Beach and hire one at less than half the price (compared to the hotel prices). The great thing was, the hotel themselves helped us hire a scooter without trying to force sell their own expensive cars!
    Overall, our stay at Tanjung Rhu was fantastic and I would highly recommend to anyone! The hotel is great, but I actually think it's the people that made our stay so enjoyable!
