Good Points: Friendly staff, large spacious rooms, quiet location away from busy roads, 200 yards to the beach, excellent service. Cheap international phone calls.
Bad Points: Tired paintwork outside but with a monsoon every year not surprising. Tired bathrooms and no plugs in sinks. Bit pricey for booze and the local whiskey is rubbish.
General comments: Perfect setting for charging the batteries after or during a cold winter. Location is superb, access to beach easy and the beach goes on forever. Miles of easy walking with inexpensive food and drink every few hundred yards. Stunning, friendly people who never seem to do anything but smile.Outside the hotel try Anri's Place, north along the beach or Little Palm to the south. Martins Corner, Crab Quay, the Pentagon and HD 86 all worth a visit but be prepared to wait. Goa time means 120 minutes to the hour minimum.Just organise and go for total relaxation.
