Good Points: - HUGE card list.- Many Characters from the show.
Bad Points: - Lack of monster effects.- No Speech.
General comments: This is the best Yu Gi Oh game there is in my opinion, but you HAVE to love the show the show and the card game to enjoy this, otherwise you will not like or understand it I feel.
This game is made for a niche market of yu gi card duelists, personally I love it, but I know if I'd never seen the show, read the manga, played the card game, I'd be lost!
OK well, this game is basically a turn based card playing game, each card represents either a monster, spell or trap. Each card has to be used to beat the oppositions with the aim to deplete your opponents life points to Zero. This game has no real story behind it, its basically a hash up of plot using the story arc of Yu Gi Oh! Season 2 - Battle City Duels and Yu Gi Oh! Season 3 - Enter the Shadow Realm as a basic guideline.
My advise to any potential buyer is: If you like Yu Gi Oh! AND the card battling aspect of the cartoon... and lets face it what else is there to love about it aside from the super cool pharoah! Then buy this game!
If you have never seen it but like the look of this game, I do not recommend because you may not understand it, the tutorials will not justify the spend.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubadour is just the worst Nintendo DS game! I borrowed it from my friend and I have never seen such a ridiculous game!
