“Fender Tornado Pewter - Overall, you are either going...”

Fender Tornado Pewter - Overall, you are either going to love or hate this guitar. I've found long-time Strat and Tele players don't like it, but younger, more open-minded players pretty much love it. It is sort of a variation on the Jazzmaster design, but with different electronics. Some have said the 24-inch Rosewood neck feels a lot like a Les Paul. The Highway 1 version is pretty limited with just one tone and volume knob for the two humbuckers. For my own guitar, I had a guitar tech swap a push-pull mechanism on the tone knob so that I can switch between single-coil and double (humbucker) pickups. This has greatly added to the versatility of this guitar.
