animal crossing is the best ds game i have
i got it when i was eight and have played on it all the time for 3 years. One of the best things about it is that you can connect with your friends if they also have the ds game and talk and play with them. I also like the idea of how the shop gets better the more you shop in it. The clothes shop has different designs in everyday and so does the furniture. Another good thing about it is that you can have up to four characters. Please remember you... (read more)

Please do not but this game for children.
I was horrified to find a character telling my younddaughter she was a loser and pathetic, dumb and that she needs help! She was made to type repeated apologies, and had to say she was DIRT for fogetting to save the game. All characters made occaisional derogatory remarks that knock confidence. Nintendo what are you trying to do to our future generation??? Are other parents aware of this - It seems to be a form of bullying. Please do not buy... (read more)

I was shocked to discover my 8 year old child having to write "I am dirt" amongst other derogatory things about herself, to a character in the Animal Crossing because she had forgotten to save her game before switching off her DS !!!!!!!
Also, within the game are many comments said to the character you play that are inappropriate.
My daughter was very upset by this and I would recommend parents to try the game before allowing their children to use it!!!! :-( (read more)

Animal Crossing: Wild World is a wonderful little neverending role-playing game, full of surprises and interesting twists and turns throughout ganmeplay.
You play as a human character living in a town inhabited by quirky animals, all of whom can talk, live in nicely decorated homes and wear fashionable clothes.
Your character has free reign of the town, and can shape the world they live in... in a huge number of ways. You can decorate your home, help upgrade the local store, collect fish,... (read more)

i normally don't like games because they are annoying and when you cant get past a level its annoying. but Animal Crossing: Wild World is amazing because you can just relax and talk to the animals in your town, dig up a fossil, fish or buy things at tom nooks. but there is also little tasks to do like pay you mortgage and make you town the nicest it can be. you can send letters and go to peoples town on wi-fi or with your friends, i all ways connect up with my cousin and sell her fruit. Like I said, I thought it was going to be for kids, but it is a great game! There are sort of mini levels within the game, to do with spending money, saving it, paying off your mortgage, having friends, sending letters. There are plenty of fun stuff to do on it like the day of the flea market where you can buy stuff from around peoples houses, the museum where you can collect fossills and stuff to make it a museum! You can change the town tune and enter in the competitions, have the most... (read more)

I think animal crossing is really good and fun because, you can create you own life just like in the real world. In animal crossing you get to do all sorts of differnt things like Fishing, catching bugs, digging up fossils and also sling shots. With sling shots you can shoot things out from the sky and retreve the things you shot down.
You also have morgages that you have to pay off in order to get a bigger house you have 7 different morgages to pay off. I have got 3 more... (read more)

Presents goes right 2 inventory you dont have to place it yourself,
You dont have 2 send fossils in a letter you can just bring it to Blathers, I sort of like the flower thing better with the watering can, I like asking about the environment at the postoffice better, i like not having the quadrents i like how the screen flows, i like having a smaller town, having the hats. You don't get to ask the town people for jobs specifically, not enough floating balloons and some special characters... (read more)

I think animal crossing is a game that if you don't check it often your town will have some weeds, which are easy to pick. If you are short on money you can write letters and give your friends gifts. The may give you something back like an apple, orange, pear, or peach. You can plant these fruits and grow fruit trees, and you can then sell the fruit to Tom Nook for some bells. If the fruit is your native fruit Tom Nook will only give you 100 bells, but if the fruit is not your native fruit... (read more)

My favorite parts of the game are collecting fish, fossils, bugs and paintings for your museum, and the fact that you can customise your house, including getting wallpaper, furniture, flooring, clothing and dressers. You can also make patterns and use them for templates (doormats), shirts, walls and floors, or share them with your friends over wireless connection. (read more)

This is a fab game, I've had it since it came out mar 06 and for the first year I played it most days sometimes until my eyes ached! My daughter has it too and when her friends come round to the house we all play it together visiting each others towns. I don't play it quite so often now although I will have a spell of about a week where I pick it up again and cheat by changing the date so that I haven't missed anything. I would never part with it and the characters are just so cute... (read more)

I bought my Nintendo DS and was desperate for a game that wasn't platform or puzzle for me to enjoy. And so I bought Animal Crossing where I was invited into a wonderful world of mortgages, mail and fishing - sounds strange and boring - so isn't!
Now I'm an adult, female, Nintendo freak - not many of us about I shall say, but this game ticked all the boxes for me. I loved The Sims until they revamped it and made it so you couldn't run it on any PC over 6 months old. But AC:WW is just... (read more)

Animal Crossing has turned out to be one of the most popular games on the DS so far. It was only released on the N64 in Japan, and it was not a huge seller on the Gamecube, yet Wild World has stormed the DS charts and the multi-format charts. What's all the fuss about you say? I'll tell you.
The differences between the 3 version of Animal Crossing aren't huge, and they're essentially the same, but Wild World stands out from the others because it's handheld, so you can dive into your virtual... (read more)
