Good Points: The only good thing was getting a tiny free plastic money box house when I opened my account at the age of 16, but it broke two days later.
Bad Points: Staff unfriendly Customer service staff very unfriendly Phone lines poor Branches look and feel old, only ever seems to be one person dealing with customers at a time while the other staff have a good old chat with a cup of tea Have no idea what's going on with my money My free plastic house money box broke
General comments: I have been with Woolwich for over 10 years. I took a loan out for £6000 (my first loan) and paid it back promptly. They continued to take money out of my account for months to "pay off the loan". I complained many times, and eventually after a lot of stress and dealing with unhelpful staff, I got my money back. This was just one of the many things they have done over the time I have been with them. It's like they just don't care.
I'm switching ASAP.
