    the fat just doesn't get up to temperature, resulting in oily soggy food.
    I measured it, and max temp was 170 (should be 190 C).

    Good features though, mechanism works well enough and fat draining system is good. But I cannot recommend Delonghi f16.

    I am using a Delonghi F16 deep fat fryer and have been doing for a long time now. One of the main things on this fryer is that it is easy to use and you have chips in minutes (or whatever else you want to deep fry). On the bad points but I can honestly day I have not found any.

    Everyone likes to give the chips a good shake when frying, but the handle to the basket of the Delonghi F16 deep fat fryer cannot take it. The drop mechanism of the handle can fail badly, and it can lock up so you can't move it, or it can collapse and you throw chips everywhere!

    I would not recommend this fryer to families with young budding chefs.
