If it sounds to good to be true don't go for it. 1 cent per minute was the offer. In fact it cost 50 cents for every 3 minute call. Luckly my purchase was for only $10. And customer service is from guess where? You got it, India. (read more)

The phone cards they promote to be the best are bottom line worthless. To be more specific, please do not buy Clean and Clear, Wonders, Hello Asia, Super Star and World Plus phone cards. Those are just a few of the phone cards I'd specifically would like to mention but there's many more. The cards will cut off your phone conversation almost every 3-5 minutes, which will require you to dial over and over and over and over and over and over again!!! It's ridiculous. Some of the cards they offer are terrible, some are good. there is no way to know what is the quality of the cards because there are no reviews in their website. I pick up a card to call to Europe call Clean and Clear, well the worst card ever, dropping calls, not connecting. I email them with my complain and asking to transfer my money from that card to another. Result: no response. I guess we got other choices. If this helps you, just stay away from this company. Calling card plus have the worst calling cards. I was surprised that I got charged even before the destination phone was picked up. This happened so many times. I have tried more than 3 types of different cards; however, I faced the same problem with all of them. In addition, their customer service representatives offer a very bad service. The telephone service is very poor, calls drop in the middle or cannot
even be made. Customer service is virtually impossible to reach by
phone and by email customer service takes several days to respond,
but the response is non-responsive to say the least, i.e., it does not

Pingo charges 98 cents a month and their other rates are bit higher, but I think they are better than CallingCardPlus.

I wish I could give this company zero stars. Once you PAY for your card, you have to WAIT for them to call you and activate the calling card! Just go with a big reputable company (AT&T, Sprint, MCI, etc). This company sucks. (read more)

Extremely rude people, not helpful at all. And not even shy about being rude, it was unbelievable actually! Do not use this company. My card stopped working a full month early and they told me my year long calling card expired after 3 months. I explained that I had used it 2 weeks ago and that was clearly 10 plus months long, and he laughed and said something along the lines of "No girl we only sell 3 month cards, you not know what you talking about", very, very rude. I would not recommed this site or card to any one 1st time I bought the card the pin was invalid , called their customer service was on hold for a good 45min before I could talk to a live person, was given a run around by rude and very unhelpful reps , after a struggle they resolved the issue .2nd time bought a $10 card could not connect untill the money was all depleated called customer service could not get anyone on the phone .... This service is HORRIBLE and it gets worse and worse! I bought cards (5) and a few seconds later I was trying the PIN numbers and all were termed invalid or my account was insufficient. Poor customer service. I bought a Calling Card Plus International Phone Card that I cannot even use. Their system is telling me that account is being used but they cannot tell me which number is using my account and just dropped the phone. I tried to call but they hang up. The same man answers and as soon as I give him my pin he hangs up. Now I think he just blocked my number.
Now I have 10 bucks in calling cards that I can not use, for some reason.
Hidden charges are 79 cents to connect (from any phone) and so on. Calling Card Plus International Phone Cards are a waste of time and money.

I only recently purchased the Calling Card Plus International Phone Card and their system may be down, but I have not been able to make a call yet since I can only get a busy signal. If I actually get to make a call or get through to customer support, I may change my review, but for now I would rate this company as no class, and I recommend that the company be avoided. The rates with Calling Card Plus International Phone Cards were never as advertised, or they just weren't clear about the additional taxes that might have been charged. Even with taxes however, the minutes I got was way way lower than advertised and I was charged when calls did not get through too. Avoid! (read more)

The same exact thing happened to me with CallingCardPlus. I purchased their "Clean and Clear" card, and it charges as soon as you enter your pin, or if you have pinless dialing, it charges as soon as you call the access number, even if it's a local one. I called their customer service office and they tried to deny it, and after speaking to two rude reps I finally got a hold of one that credited the full amount back to the card. I ended up requesting a refund and won't be purchasing from them ever again, especially after they lied and told me they're located in Virginia when they are actually located in Egypt.
