A simple to use, cheap option for a PVR. Very simple to set up and use. The 14 day EPG via a calender is great. Have looked at other PVRs and they seem to be very clunky and difficult to use in comparison to the FVRT 200.
Fan is a bit noisy in a quiet room. Switched the unit on one day and was completely dead, after purchasing another power supply from Maplins thankfully the unit is back up and working.

The DigiFusion FVRT200 is easy to use, very reliable, well engineered, great design and superb value for money. I expect to upgrade mine to 120GB laptop drive in the future, more capacity and I can lose the fan!

I know some people have had problems with their FVRT200 freezing up, but I've had mine for over a year and it's never failed me. There are minor niggles, but to be honest these are only when I've become used to the machine and have decided that it's stunning features are not enough, but that's just me being greedy. Let's not forget that this machine does the same as others twice the price, so what if it's not built to last, but even at full price these were good value, now they're about £5 ...

Overall, the idea of the DigiFusion FVRT200 is fantastic. In reality, it has become more difficult to use because the unit keeps freezing. It has been telling me to "Pls Wait" for a day now, so obviously isn't working.

Poor value for money over 18 months.

The FVRT200 very good. Learn to use the system and the remote. Change the remote to a better quality learning one.
    Probably better out there now.

Overall quite happy with it. Eventually got my wife to use it. She's gotten pretty good with it.

Overall it's quite good. If you've got HD TV, the unit only does SCART out so the picture quality reflect that.

The price was good at the time. There may be better systems out there now.

Surely a machine like the DigiFusion FVRT200 should last longer than 18 months (and it seems we have been luckier than some people)?

Although this DigiFusion FVRT200 DVR has many good features it's biggest problem is that it keeps freezing. It has also on about 3 occasions wiped the hard disk, erasing all the saved programmes. I have had two of these, the first I had to replace as it froze and would not reset after 3 months. This has just happened to the second one after 5 months - I will NOT be getting another.

Although the DigiFusion FVRT200 hard drive recorder has a twin tuner and chase play, it has an over-complicated menu system, very poor remote, it is difficult to upgrade the software, and it locks up.

Buy a PVR9200T from HUMAX, this is how easy a menu can be, and how a remote should look and feel.

The DigiFusion FVRT200 hard drive recorder is a very good piece of machinery - so far (I have been using it for 3 months). Yes, it needs careful aim of the remote, but it does have a red light which flashes when it receives a signal (It doesn't flash if it doesn't get one). When it gets a signal it takes a couple of moments to react, so be patient and it works well. If it freezes or goes on obvious slow time (mine has once) it is because it has been given too many instructions, so be patient. ...

I bought my DigiFusion FVRT200 hard drive recorder on the 22nd of February 2006.

It started about a week ago by locking up and not responding at all to the remote control. To fix it I had to power it down and back up again.

Since Friday 31st March, when put into standby over night, it now resets completely and needs rescanning again to find all the channels - resulting in loss of anything in the Library / Recording List

It takes up to a minute to change channel or respond to most key pr ...

I bought a DigiFusion FVRT200 Hard Drive Recorder from Tribal UK once our Echostar T-101 FTA had died, and it was only £150. I have been very impressed with the recorder itself. It is easy to use, and really changes the way you watch television. It's great to be able to record 2 programmes at once.

These are the let downs in my opinion:

    * The support from DigiFusion is variable.
    * If the compression options are used (sometimes useful), there is a chance you could lose your entire ...
