I had assumed that the goods were never going to arrive and purchased an alternative from another store.
When the good did arrive i contacted techstore to explain how disappointed I was and requested a refund and details on how to return the goods.
Return correspondence was unhelpful and really a bit rude. I would never use this company again....

I have sent emails which have been returned as 'undeliverable' due to their inbox being too full, am unable to get through by telephone and have now lodged a claim with PayPal in the hope of getting my money back. Terrible.
Spent a long time chasing up an order.
4 times writing on their website and 4 times emailing them.
Also spent an age phoning them only to get someone who wanted rid of me ASAP.
Was told the product would be in stock later in the month. I feel foolish in that I trusted them knowing that it would be harder to get the money back from Paypal after the 45 day period but trusted them I did.
Their website is now down which doesn't fill me with expectations.

I ordered two batteries on 24 September.Two weeks later I was told they were awaiting stock. A week later this was still the case. I went on holiday ( minus the batteries I had ordered for this purpose) and on my return was informed by Techstore (after several emails) that they were still out of stock. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Stupidly I purchased an item off their website before reading these reviews. Eventually the item arrived several weeks late however it was clearly a second hand unit and turned out to be over 4 years with no warentee. They have refused to do anything about it, they don't return calls or e-mails. Worst transaction I have ever made. Website did not show up that the product was not in store, but once I had paid it said 'awaiting stock'. It said this for a month so I contacted them, they told me it was due in soon. a further two weeks went by and no product in stock. It has now been two months since I cancelled my order and asked for a refund, it still has not come through, despite several calls and e-mails.

Never have I come across a supplier as bad as this. Very misleading with goods that they have in stock. The web site states that credit card would only be charged when goods are dispatched, absolutly load of rubbish.
Very poor customer service. I have now handed the dispute over to Lloyds TSB.
Do not order from these, the web site looks good and the goods seem cheap, but do yourself a favour and order from someone else.

As with most complaints, Techstore lied about the delivery times about the product I ordered. They shipped a few weeks late and a few days AFTER I had cancelled the order via confirmed email. They now "can't find" the returned item and refuse to refund.
If you google for Techstore.co.uk, you will find on the first two pages that this business has a previous record in fraud and mass-spamming. It seems they have continued in slightly more sophisticated ways:

BEWARE!!! Believe everyone else, these guys are awful. I ordered a TV tuner which was marked on the site as available within 3 days. After waiting three weeks, I chased and was given another delivery date a week later. They missed that, and supplied me with another date. I asked for my money back and they ignored me. With the couple of fake 5-star reviews they post themselves they shouldn't be able to blind people, but enough fall for the low prices and order before reading what you have to experience here as customer.
