    Good Points: The roof top pool, quiet and well maintained.
    The snacks were excellent, we were self catering and only ate snacks at the hotel.
    Enjoyed our breakfast each morning at the Last Paradise where we got a great welcome and marvellous service from Nicholas. We preferred this to Blue Waters which is nearby.
    The beach and sea were very clean and the icecream, especially the black cherry, was excellent at the Tunny Net.
    The English Rose offers very good value for money boat trips to the Blue Lagoon and the Grand Harbour at Valletta. 11.50 'for each.
    The buses are cheap and frequent, take the 45 to the village of Mellieha as it costs 54 cents, the others have a flat rate for all journeys and itwill cost you 1.16 '




    Bad Points: The entertainment, this was quite noisy and not of a very high standard.


    General comments: We have just come back from spending a week at the Luna Holiday Complex. We found it to be an excellent base, the hotel was clean, the appartments were basic but contained everything we needed and the staff were so helpful. The minimarket was well stocked and opened at 7.30am.
    We are planning to return next year, a bit earlier in the season as we found it a little too hot - 30+C - to do any serious sightseeing. Great for relaxing though!

    Myself, partner and 4 children have used the Luna for 12 years and can honestly say we have never had a bad holiday at the Luna Malta. We are always made welcome and it is like going to a family party. The staff just cannot do enough for you

    Rooms are basic but very clean, the restaurant served very good food. Have been three times before going again for the fourth visit. If you want a holiday to enjoy this is a good choice.

    I expected this hotel to be a lot better than it was, I have been in hotels before of the same star rating and this is by far the worst. I did not like anything about it! Will definitely not be going back.

    We went to the Luna Holiday Complex, Mellieha Bay in 2005. We booked a Superior Studio which was fantastic. It was very spacious and bright. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My daughter's pyjamas went missing with the laundry, but they immediately gave us money for a new pair!

    It's situated at the bottom of a VERY steep hill on the main road that leads up to the village. Car hire is recommended! There are enough places to eat in the area around the complex if you don't want to trav ...
