Good Points: No ideological hubris or moralizing, pure rationality. Author's huge experience in security matters.
Bad Points: Absence of morality.
General comments: Samson Blinded: A Machiavellian Perspective on the Middle East Conflict
Veteran Israeli politician renounces ideological hubris, and contends that only rational means can win the war on terror. Shoher laughs at Jewish and Muslim myths and preconceptions, such as historical right to the land. The author attacks everyone left and right on the political spectrum, and blames Israeli vacillation for the prolonged suffering of Palestinians.
