This book got Benjamin Netanyahu elected as Prime Minister the second time. In August 2005 he was floundering, stepped back from his political ambitions to write this book, then came back to win leadership in Likud a few days before the official publication date.

Veteran Israeli politician renounces ideological hubris, and contends that only rational means can win the war on terror. Shoher laughs at Jewish and Muslim myths and preconceptions, such as historical right to the land.
