Good Points: Plus, it was very cute. ^_^ Also, it goes about 84 miles per gallon. That is a HUGE plus right there, in this economic crises.

Bad Points: It is a scooter, so it won't be as 'cool' as a motorcycle, but it is appropriate for me and what I do. Another 'bad' point is that it is out in the open, and you would get really cold riding on that thing. Plus, rain is not your best friend...and you have to deal with helmet hair (haha).

General comments: I really liked the Kymco People 150cc. It was my first bike that I actually got to drive (my da owns the bikes and I like to ride on the back of them), but this was a bike that was still 'big' enough to actually go anywhere without me looking like a fool, and it also was small enough that I could move it fairly easily. (Especially compared to my da's 250cc bike which is VERY heavy). I also like that it moves around bigger things (cars, for example) with ease and was nice and quiet.

Just got my first scooter this xmas, and it's the best investment i've ever made. i shopped around and this was the best pick. it's fuel efficient on a stop-n-go island like Guam. i spend about $12 a week! absolutely easy handling. uphill...no prob. keeping up with traffic is not even an issue. and i can't get over it's definite show-stopper appearance. i've ridden with many 50cc & 125cc scooters from PGO and Kymco, but nothing outlasts or comes close to the People 150. a must have!my only conce ...

I did a lot of research and decided this was the scooter for me. It has great reliability and looks great. I always liked them, but when the black an ivory 2009's came out I fell in love.

I recently upgraded to a Kymco People 150 from a 86' Honda Spree. I will tell you that that was a fantastic decision. This scoot has it all, no problems with the mechanical aspect, great ride, I have been super happy with the scooter and ride it whenever I can, Plenty of power for me and my wife. We got it up to 60 mph with both of us on it. I live in Chicago so winter will be a bummer when I will not be able to ride.

This is my first scooter and I am impressed with it's power and smoothness on the road. It is also powerful enough to carry pillion passengers.

The Kymco People 150 is my first bike, I did not really know what to expect. It is very easy to ride, even on loose packed dirt roads which I ride on pretty often. Irregular road surfaces are handled easily and comfortably. Great fuel efficiency. Quiet, handles much better than I would have expected. Acceleration is great, I regularly pull away from cars. Good braking.
I could not be more delighted with this bike. I had to disassemble rather extensively to mount the top case and wiring, and wa ...

My Kymco People 150 has proven to be a very smooth ride with good pick up and speed. I like the large wheels and I have had no mechanical problems with much use. I ride it back and forth to work daily (8000 klm from August '07 to June '08). It has a nice large seat and plenty of power to carry me and my wife for fun trips into town.
Overall I am very pleased with the Kymco product. I can't say that I have ever once regretted the purchase.

I would recommend getting a major brand. I have had several carburetor issues in my 2006. It sounds like it is about to kill until I let up and just let it idle. It tends to hesitate when I begin to accelerate, and it seams to happen a little more on hills at low speeds. It will sputter and almost die if I am giving it any gas. It has left me stranded on 3 occasions. At this time, I can't say it is a reliable form of transportation.

I've had my KYMCO People 150cc scooter for 8 months now. I've put about 1,400 miles on it. It is my second scooter and I've put about 70,000 miles on sport motorcycles in all seasons so I'm an experienced rider. I have a 3.5 mile commute to work and have ridden my scooter to work most every day including in full rain with wind to 40mph. I put a sport- fairing on the scooter and it made a very big difference in comfort and appearance. I have ridden it at a true 60 mph to a nearby town 3 times. I ...
