In November we upgraded to high speed broadband with tv service. Two months and four hours of calls later we finally received our tv box, followed by another box three days later, followed by a letter saying we're sorry you've cancelled your tv service and another letter saying welcome. Complained on 2nd January having problems with phone and broadband, to date must have spoken to at least 20 customer services officers all sound like robots just reading off a card they then text me to say fault fixed when I ask what fault was cannot tell me that's because they have done nothing and still got problems, for the first time this morning was told by them that they can see that I have a very unstable connection (I have been telling them this for over a month) now they say they want… Read Full Review

Talktalk started off good, got the tv, phone and internet in one package. I recently moved house and the previous owners already had talktalk installed. Faster speeds than sky. But then the problems started. 1. We had to pay for an engineer to come and install a socket that was already in place. 2. The wifi will not reach upstairs. 3. Rang up in December 2015 re free home check offer re mess up earlier in the year re peoples details hacked. Was pressurised into changing from ordinary Broadband to fibre optic plus a TV package. I have been with them from the start. TWO weeks later all these free offers and gifts come on for NEW and EXISTING CUSTOMERS.. The person must have known these were coming on in a few weeks. I ordered talktalk broadband via online on 20/11/15 with phone line and experienced worse service ever. Paid one off line rental for whole year via online which clearly mentioned I will get £100 love2shop voucher. After 2 weeks they said I am not eligible for voucher. “Broadband provider without E-Mail contact”

Can someone please explain why a Broadband provider such as TalkTalk refuse to list any e-mail contact address on their website. Phone is okay but first you require good hearing, speech and a notepad if you require a record of discussion (which talktalk can deny) On line chat does not provide a record or chain of events. Absolutely it suggests to me that Talktalk are looking to avoid accountability at all stages - after all if the complaint etc is not in writing then they are able to challenge in accordance with their terms and conditions.
I have a long running issue with talktalk where effectively I was hoodwinked into a new 18 month contract and was told at the time I could roll back to the previous contract within 20 days and now still within the 20 day period I am being told that I cannot roll back and so am tied into a new 18 month contract .

“Billed nearly £400 for contract I never agreed to.”

I was getting pretty fed up with broadband constantly dropping out and dreadful customer service. As my prepaid line rental and contract were due to expire I called TalkTalk to see if they would make me a really good offer not to leave. After much haggling they did, including all calls to UK landlines and mobiles, and fibre at 76Mb/s. I have had enough with the poor service, no internet connection when I need it the most. Never able to get through to sort out the problems, even though they are suppose to be a communications service provider. Errors even gave my daughters email address to someone else and then gave out all my passwords etc to that other person who shared the same email as my under 18 year daughter and we had even trouble sorting that out, even though they breached data protection, thus my daughter seeing… Read Full Review

Terrible customer service. Constant inconsistencies and mistakes made their end which are not rectified even after endless phonecalls and complaints....all they say is... 'we are very sorry' but can provide no answers or resolutions. Don't get drawn in by the offer of packages which you will be charged for anyway. I've spent more money on phonecalls to rectify than I have received in beneficial rewards. Terrible service unbelievable they are still operating with no repercussions… Read Full Review

Iquite agree I am a TALK TALK customer,and my router signal is rubbish keeps cutting out ,I have tried switching everything off and starting again,but that does not work ,still have old router ,would like an upgrade ,but cant contact TALK TALK, customer service is non existent ,cant even buy the latest router from TALK TALK as non available,what sort of company are they,take your money,then not interested in you.

they provide a bad service they charge for engineers who don't fix the problem, you ask for the complaints dept and they say they will call in 72 hours and now approx. 10 days so far still not heard. they wont give you HO details. they are not interested at all in what you say. internet so slow. the only positive thing about talk talk is don't use them ever… Read Full Review

After the email drop out of a day ( 11/12/15), I called Talk Talk to remove a phone boost I was not really using on my landline. I was then on hold for ages as the customer service person was trying to get more money out of me by upgrading ( but costing me more). I explained I wanted to remove a feature, not add. Despite paying for fibre optic I get terrible connections. It sometimes takes 30 minutes for my laptop to find the wifi. Doesn't happen away from my home so not a fault of the laptop.
