So I have had talktalk as a provider for my phone and internet since I lived in Gosport in September 2010, I then moved to Ely, Cambridgeshire in November 2011, and despite phoning and emailing them they were unable to transfer my phone and broadband until a month after I moved but that it turns out was the least of my problems, I added tv to my package when it became available and then in February 2014 I then moved to Benwick, Cambridgeshire and began trying to get my talktalk package… Read Full Review

“Avoid At all Costs”

Internet goes off every 10 mins, customer service staff dont know what they are talking about and can not even speak English we told them we needed a engineer and they said no there is nothing wrong with the line at last we got a engineer out he said there is a fault with the line, phoned back up they still insisted there is nothing wrong also tried charging us £50 for engineer coming out. I can not believe how terrible the service with TalkTalk is! I have the phone line and broadband internet with them, both of which have been off for the past month. Numerous calls have been made to talk talk by myself, an engineer has been to my house and i have received several text messages from talktalk telling me the problem with be resolved in 24/48/72 hours (each time the time is up, they send another message with a new time on it!) “Leaves BT at the starting line!”

Got the whole package for ten quid less per month than BT. the offers are open to existing customers. Broadband just as quick. The tuning for the telly was faultless and now the remote works for the telly. The phone displays caller numbers, and the time and date are set automatically.Also can use the red button. I've been with talk talk since Nov 2013 it's now april and we have never had a,proper connection. I paid for fibre as I have 4 children and with Christmas coming they would all have wireless devices and was promised the whole family would b able to surf. No chance!!! I have been phoning customer service for months and for hrs at a time still telling me there is no problems. Terrible, just terrible!! The Talk Talk service in my opinion was absolutely terrible, I live with my mother and she took out a talk talk contract. First of all it took them ages to send out an engineer to connect us and therefore the so-called grace period where we could cancel "hassle-free" was no longer possible. After getting started with talk talk last year and experiencing every possible problem I looked with dread at the prospect of renewing my contract .How right I was ,the initial call at first to a uk call base was quick and easy . after speaking on the house phone for aprox 2 1/2 hours on and off today (I was cut off several times)about not having an internet connection I am still no further forward with it. I was past around several people each of them told me to try x.. y .. z it sounded like a script. I have lost connection 3X trying to write this. We had broadband and phone line installed 17th March and it went live 19th March as per our Talk Talk contract. You view was due to b installed 21st March however on 19th March we had a text to say Talk Talk had cancelled our You view engineer as our broadband and phone line weren't working. It is cheap, but definitely not for value for money. Their technical support team will not able to assist your problems via phone or email. Rather than you will have to wait a week for a solution, and speak to a UK employee of Talk talk. TalkTalk is an absolute useless with their connectivity! My phone and broadband was out for three weeks, and I only joined two months ago! If you want all the headache in the world, then join talktalk. “Too slow to load Google homepage”

Unless you are using the internet at obscure times like 3am, then it is largely unuseable. In about an hour I was able to load up 3 pages off facebook. This has to be the slowest service I've ever known. At times it can't even load google. Right now I'm having to tether the data from my ipad to be able to use the internet. Keep Clear. After many hours spent on the phone to an overseas call center, I finally managed to transfer the account from my house mate to me - the struggle I had doing so was nothing when reporting the failure of my rooter. After around three hours on the phone to report the failure and a phone diagnoses that suggested a rooter failure, customer service insisted on sending out an engineer, who reported a rooter failure.
