“Avoid at all costs”

Decided to switch to TalkTalk, what a mistake that turned out to be! Left me without internet for 5 days after switching from Sky. Now switched back to Sky and was left with a bill for £212 after cancelling despite the fact that they could not connect me when they promised. Awful customer service based in India and have not contacted me about ongoing complaint even though they said they would. Hope these clowns go out of business, PLEASE AVOID!!!… Read Full Review

I applied for telephone and fibre optic broadband offered very good price. Was given an appointment for Openreach to attend and connect The line and broadband. Openreach turned up told us Talktalk had not booked the correct appointment they would need to do extra work at the exchange and come back at a later appointment Talktalk would arrange this for us. Well Talktalk your 12 years old i would of thought with in that 12 years you would of improved in your customer service skills and got rid of all the people who are lazy in your call centres. talk talk are a COMPLETE waste of time and money. Never resolved anything properly in 18 months (AND THAT IS AFTER CONSTANT ON GOING ATTEMPTS TO FIX THINGS) At present a telephone line you can hardly hear on when talking and internet speed of less than 1.0 (IN THIS DAY AND AGE - ARE YOU SERIOUS) - the price is the same when they KNOW they cannot provide the speeds you are paying for 5 miles from the exchange managed to swap our telephone line to cable phone number for 4 days. numerous times… Read Full Review

customer service in some random asian country, near enough every time i call i get lied to or hung up on, im moving house so i have to start a whole new 18month contract on the same deal (£26 per month)and i cant have the same deal as new customers which is exactly the same price but includes a whole bunch more, basically they try hard to gfet you to be a customer and then when you are a customer, they dont care about you, everytime ive had to renew my contract, i get a short letter about 1… Read Full Review

“Most appauling customer service ever encountered”

After paying a bill in March by automated service the company disputed payment. We spoke to our bank who said it had been paid. We sent bank statements twice and a bank reference number to no avail.They cut me off for 5 days without notice and after a barrage of abuse from them about payment have now referred us to a debt collecting agency.. After being over 4 years talktalk customer, didn't expect that they could do it something like that. I was moving my home to new build house. Spoke with talktalk customer service about changing address, been told they need 10 days for escalating. Phone them after 10 days - said need another 10 days, phoned them again after 10 they said again 10 days. “Worse internet provider ever”

From over charging to bogus claims about them fixing our internet, a year with Talktalk was like a year in hell. Horrible customer service, very intermittent service which cannot be relied upon, and a generally bad service. Please do not think that the couple of pounds you are saving is worth it, talktalk will rack up your phone bill while talking to the plethora of incompetent staff to the point where you are losing money… Read Full Review

I have NEVER in my life experienced this level of ineptitude. 4 weeks we've been waiting since our initial appointment. The service is still not working. All they do is read off a script, and the departments do zero communicating with one another. After fault developed where I was unable to receive free view channels called customer services and endured an approx 45 minute call running through as series of tests to no avail. “Fibre upgrade = no internet”

Talk talk promised a superfast upgrade for me as an existing customer but the result was that I lost my internet service altogether. It is over a week now and they cannot tell me when they will solve the problem. It affects all AOL customers who upgrade. The network authentication code does not work. I was with talk talk for about a year . We moved to them as they are very well priced , please do not be fooled by this as there service is incredibly poor. “Worst customer service ever”

New customer - Phone line didn't work, they cancelled engineer who was due to come, was basically told to fix it myself by getting a screwdriver and opening phone socket cover, before they finally got it working. Charged for week it did't work after being told I wouldn't. Offered 85p in compensation and when I refused this I was shouted at over the phone by so called customer service reps.
