“Total rubbish broadband”

We have been with Talktalk for broadband and phone for six months today and have never had stable internet for more than a few days at any one time, usually only have it for a very short time. Reported at least fifty times and had three routers, settings been changed too many times to remember, had an engineer visit and issues still not resolved. “Dreadful”

Was unwise to be sucked in to one of their ever present promotional deals for new customers. You then discover, whilst being locked into an 18 month contract, that TalkTalk are one of the worst price increasers in the industry. Just received notice of a second price increase in 15 months. I had recently decided to take out a Talk talk broadband,telephone and TV offer that had been on the radio and television. “Greedy company”

My TalkTalk broadband had crawled to a near halt (not uncommon)I asked for an engineer to visit. Two days later I got a text from Talk Talk saying the problem had been solved. A few days late an engineer still turns up to tell me there is nothing more he can do. Their connectivity is terrible. Our broadband service dropped out several times every day. This was supposedly "resolved" by spending an hour at a time on the phone to the technicians, yet the problem continued. They then tried to sell me fibre optic broadband, at extra cost, obviously. When I had had enough and left I was told I would not have to pay an early cancellation fee. I joined them on 19th March,now 5th May 2015. Still no internet access and,they refuse to cancel contract even though the fault was diagnosed by an engineer as being at their end.
Several telephone calls and,they won't cancel contract unless I pay until end of it which is at a cost of over £200. They just move the goal post by saying it needs 28 days from your complaint to cancel contract despite initial complaint being three months prior ?.
Offcom and,trading standards should have more say to help customers but,talk talk just get away with it.
Never received shopping voucher either and,you cannot cancel standing orders or,they will add a £12 penalty fee per month to your bill. Seems no way out of it at the moment but, I will continue to get this resolved.
DON'T JOIN TALK TALK'....

poor, poor, I must waste up to £50 trying solve my issues on the phone, after 2 months calling, waiting, calling, waiting....they didn't repair our connection (was broken), recently they send us outstanding balance for their service of £30. so 2 month without internet £40 plus £30 plus £50, and you have lots of stress plus no internet and on top of that £120 paid for nothing. I have supposedly changed my contract details with TalkTalk, having decided to stay with them against my better judgement. Very BAD decision!!! what more can i say?? if you enjoy spending your days without internet or phone but still being chareged, they send engineers out that you have to pay as its never there fault its always the customers......ITS a scam and swindle people charge you for this and that and they let there indian call centers take the brunt of the complaints although they cant do anything to help you accept send an engineer thats costs you avoid like the plague and do yourself a fav pay a wee bit more for quality… Read Full Review

“The worst in 20 years of surfing”

TALK TALK Broadband. Issues started over 18 months ago. Pretty much as soon as we signed up to their unlimited version. For the past 12 months we generally get around 24 to 60kb speeds. Yes that's right around what we used to get with a 56k modem. Despite multiple phone calls they only seem capable of restarting the router remotely. Don't join thinking you're getting value for money. You will eventually end up paying much more in total than you can imagine My account charges kept increasing ever so slightly every month since joining till near the end of the year contract I was paying nearly double what I was originally promised. Have been a TalkTalk customer for nearly 14 years and recently we upgraded to Fibre Optic and their New Super Router in January this Year. We have had problems in the past but they have always eventually been sorted. This time however that has not been the case.
