I paid for fibre optic but ended getting dial up broadband utterly awful, I may have been paying a lot more for virgin media fibre broadband but at least I was getting what I was paying for, don't know how this company is still trading as the service is terrible I can't imagine how slow standard broadband is I probably could walk to Tibet and back by the time it finished loading up Google. During a 90min game of football I usually lose connection 2-3 times, this really isn't acceptable, especially when I am trying to watch my favourite team and paying a Now tv subscription. I should be moving home in a few weeks time, will never ever use these jokers again, embarrassingly unreliable! Plus, they put the price up with out any notice, just noticed that more money was leaving my account than before. “The worst customer service do not use this company!!!!!”

I have had to complain 3 times in 3 months regarding 2 different issues, every time it takes an hour to conduct the call with limited resolution. The customers service is appalling, with staff who provide incorrect information and clearly have received no training in how to speak to a customer or deal with a complaint. “ABSOLUTE RUBBISH”

The customer service in this organization is by far the worst thing i ever encountered. The sales department calls all the time for upgrades and ways to "save money" - ended up deciding to upgrade my broadband to fiber optic and guess what IT WASN'T FIBER OPTIC AFTER ALL! This upgrade costed £12 a month extra and the connection was even worst! Ended up having to cancel my contract due to moving out of property and the cancellation charges are a declared robbery! “Liars. Cheats. Do NOT Trust!!!”

I moved home and began a new contract with talktalk. They told me an engineer would be out 8 days later to connect me. Nobody turned up. I rang them later that day for answers. They said I didn't need an engineer and that I was already connected. What? Firstly I was never notified that the scheduled engineer was no longer coming out. Secondly I wasn't connected. “unbelievable ineficiency”

The most inefficient service that I have ever encountered, constant broadband and email faults, broken promises, blaming other companies for their own errors, denying faults on their part which was directly accountable to them, refusing to call back on numerous occasions following promises that they would, blocking transfer to another supplier 5 times, sending letters promising actions that were never carried out, telling me if I wished to speak to a Senior Manager it would take 10 days for him… Read Full Review

“Avoid at all costs”

My father has Talk Talk broadband and in recent months has gone into a nursing home therefore I needed to cancel it. I have Lasting Power of Attorney for my father as he can no longer deal with his affairs. I wrote to Talk Talk to cancel the service and they wanted to see the original Lasting Power of Attorney documents but I was reluctant to send the original in case it got lost at some point. “No phone no internet for five days ”

My mother is 78 and lives alone and thanks to talk talk she's had no phone for five days, if anything happens she can ring one for the family to come. But thanks to talk talk and the lack of trying to fix the phone I've had to take time off work to be with her. I have been passed around and told so many different things, was told a manger would ring me back between 7-10 on Sunday never got a call. “Broadband speed”

Recently switched from Sky, wish I hadn't. Never had any issues with broadband speeds, even at peak times. I am now saddled with useless Broadband for the next 18 months with this lot. Do yourself a favour... "DO NOT SIGN UP TO TALK TALK" We changed from another provider after being convinced by their sales patter. What a major mistake! We have had two or three outages on our line. We reported these and, eventually, they were fixed. We contacted re a reduction in the Bill for the time that we did not have a service but NOTHING. The Customer Service department is another joke. I signed up to a 12 month contract last June which should expire this June. However, they offered me a free upgrade to Fibre for 12 months in December, which I accepted. I categorically asked them if I could cancel this anytime and if there would be any charges ? They said that I could cancel whenever I wanted without any charges. I had been with AOL and now inherited Talktalk for my telephone and broadband. It had been ok,so I decided to have TV plus. I was promised an email outlining my new services, still waiting!! I AM DEAF AND CANNOT TALK ON THE PHONE. I SWITCHED TO TALKTALK WITH A PROMISE OF AN ENGINEER TO BRING PHONE LINE FROM UPSTAIRS TO THE LOUNGE, I AM STILL WITHOUT A TV. I AM SO MAD.
