After 12 years with Talk Talk I have finally change my broadband/telephone supplier, I had a problem with my broadband for over 3 weeks, the procedure for reporting problems is through a automated system which, after being put on hold,I eventually spoke to a person who had a problem with the English language, this is TTs stage 1 which employ staff with very limited skills, after many more phone calls you may be lucky and reach TTs stage 2 they speak better English but appear not to understand… Read Full Review

Appalling, very low standards service, careless, nonsense and irritating customer service that aims to satellite you forever around first line support answering to everything with reciting repetitive set answers without ever intending to find a real solution to your problems. “Poor all round”

Have been a TalkTalk customer for nearly 14 years and recently we upgraded to Fibre Optic and their New Super Router in January this Year. We have had problems in the past but they have always eventually been sorted. This time however that has not been the case. This is the first time I've ever had such appalling customer service that I've written a review to vent about it and warn others not to sign up for it. My Father who was with them for many years was transfered from Tiscali to talk talk. When he recently died both myself and my sister contacted their INDIAN call center. What a terrible time we had. “Very poor internet”

Although we don't pay for an unlimited package (you get better from other companies) I would expect that my internet wouldn't be immediately throttled the minute I start using it. Averaging around 2 mbits/sec then dropping to 0.5 is atrocious for an ISP in this modern day. Basic internet from other companies will see an average of around 20 with the new fibre optic being around 80. The customer service is terrible and unreliable just like the connection and any problems could take weeks to fix… Read Full Review

Coming from sunny Barlic,,,free view is rubbish but we got all the demand stuff.I thought i was doing right when we picked talk talk 70 free view channel. great.... NOT IN Barlic{Barnoldswick} get 40 channels. Been told only way to get more is free sat and dish and put a different post code in . I have been with them for over 8 years. They don't do any discounts for there long time customers. They always change the bill and when you call them they don't help; there call center is in india so what do you expect! The contract that I had with them was a 'fixed' contract....the price increased by £7. When you call them they have no idea that it increased and they give you some stupid reasons as to why it increased. Also, there connection isn't reliable at all! Overall very bad!… Read Full Review

I recently tried to book broadband with talk talk. I wanted to keep my landline number and just have the high speed broadband. They advised I couldn't keep my landline number. I called back to change the order as my provider told me I could keep my number and they passed me from department to department advising I couldn't keep my number, which wasn't true. Heavens! I'd expected of few bad reviews for this provider but was astonished when I saw how many there are. A few years ago I transferred to TalkTalk from Tiscali who, I have to say, I'd had no problems with. In a fairly short time I lost my telephone and internet connection and when I called customer services I spoke to a very rude chap who was not the slightest bit interested, was entirely unhelpful and had he been in the room with me I would haved floored him. I forgot to mention - TalkTalk recently me sent me a new router. It didn't take long for that to pack up, so I went back to my old one. I think that the new one was supposed to improve my Internet Experience. Oh how we laughed.

“Awful”

We pay for the fastest fibre optic they offer, 76MB, we have been with them for over 12 months. At the time of the subscription we had an operator on the line who told us after "checking " the line that we would be getting 66 MB /sec..... well fair enough it sounded close enough so we joined. To this date we have never had over 35MB /sec, their own speed test indicates 33MB / sec as the fastest speed we ever got... to be honest we would be happy with 30 ish, most of the time the internet is… Read Full Review

“Terrible broadband ”

I have had a lot of trouble with talk talk broadband! They have sent me letters to pay things that I haven't been using! My phone stopped working, my tv and wifi also stopped working for days! They let me get a early contract release and then they still pay me payments that have to be made. I phoned them up and I got put into hold for 3 hours to speak to a managr after speaking to two other members of staff which weren't any help to me at all. Please lets keep this going Talk talk are rubbish and as I told them over the phone just money grabbing B@s they do not listen and if you have a problem god help you, I am willing to go to court over their non provison of broad band and getting their bills wrong
