This entire company needs to be revamped customer service operatives who seem not to understand English ,rude line managers ,bills that are filled with surprises , disregarding customers reques , charged for 2 phone lines and only requested 1 , cancellations to my existing phone and broadband without my permission and the list goes on they are the worst company in the world please stay away you've been warned… Read Full Review

I joined talk talk about 3 weeks ago now since then i have had no internet connection at all, bear in mind a member of talk talk came out and fitted in for me, since them i have range up 13 time to complain and to see if they will fix the problem but they keep passing me back and for i fell like im going around in circals., they have already taken the first month payment out of my bank and are not whiling to pay it back! i do not recommend talk talk to anyone. i really don't know what to do :(… Read Full Review

“NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN !!”

If I had read all the reviews about Talk Talk I would never of gone with them !! the signal is very slow and all they say is its the area I live in then why sell it to me if they can't guarantee the product ?? also the voucher they offer (£75) is only when you sign up as a new customer which I am but not don't have an existing line uhhh !! what's that all about… Read Full Review

“A TERRIBLE MISTAKE”

I appear to have made a terrible mistake moving to TALKTALK! I moved to TALKTALK in June 2014. Although I was with AOL, my provider was BT, it was slow (4mb/s) but reliable, with few disconnections from 2000. I was persuaded to change to TT because the combined cost of phone and broadband was cheaper than BT, although, since TT had taken over AOL internet, it also seemed sensible to be with that supplier. told me they had installed a new line even though the line was already in use before they switched me across. Failed to request MAC code resulting in disconnection charge from previous broadband supplier. Been without broadband now for 2 weeks and had 3 visits from an engineer who everytime tells me the problem is not inside the house, however everytime I ring Talk Talk they try to send another engineer and tell me if I miss him I'll be charged. Recently moved house and my partner decided to stay with talk talk it was arranged with talk talk over 3 weeks ago for an engineer to fit a new line and set up the broadband. The date was arranged that an engineer would call yesterday 8.7.14 between 1:00 and 6:00 no engineer arrived after a family member had waited in all afternoon. Talk talk now have me bound by a contract until february which means if I leave them I have to pay a big penalty fee which I can't afford, but as soon as the time comes I will be leaving them. In the meantime I'm using social networking like twitter and facebook to warn everyone not to join them. Their customer service is awful and I don't actually think they are all that cheap either. “Save your time, energy, money and headache ”

I just got set up with TalkTalk on the 30th of June. Since the set up I haven't been able to access wireless internet. The connection seems to be working with an ether cable, but not the wifi connection. I have spent two days dealing with their technical department in India, and they even acknowledge that there is a fault with the modem. A truly terrible broadband provider. No wonder they can offer such a cheap service - they have very little staff to pay. A 'going live' date, along with router and small 8 page booklet is all that's provided, then it's up to you to get set up. Technical assistance and other helplines are non-existent, an online 'Talktalk community' exists instead. Talktalk is the worst company in uk. They are liars and fail to keep their promises. The staffs are incompetent and liars. This company needs to revamp its customer service!!!!!! I used Talk Talk for just over five years, then due to re-development around my property, which was actually being knocked down for a new estate complex, I contacted Talk Talk to inform them that my property will be demolished and I was moving away to an area where Talk Talk was not available, therefore cancel my subscription. What a complete waste of time. I moved from Sky to talktalk, or should I say I tried to move to talktalk. They took the payment and confirmed a date for the engineer. I got a letter stating that the number had rejected, so I called talktalk. The call centre is based overseas and the it is very hard to understand them, or for them to understand me. “Disaster without apology”

I recently had TalkTalk installed for tv, broadband and telephone. What a disaster. From the day it was due to become active we constantly lost the internet. The 'phone was nothing but interference so we were unable to use it. We even lost the tv for a while. That needed to be rebooted from their end. “Not even if they pay me!”

I was with Talk Talk since 2006. To be exact I started as Toucan customer first (extremely pleased, great service with no connection issues). Then Pipex took over (less pleased, not so great service but more expensive). Eventually Talk Talk took over. For the last 3yrs I had issues with my internet connection. I am disgusted and furious at the way you have treated my mother. You have had contact off her regarding a mobile contract she has with yourselves as it isn't up and running and yet you are charging her for it. You have told her to wait 2 days for activation now for almost two weeks. You then say it must be a faulty sim and promise the new one you send will work straight away- which it didn't. Appalling service regret leaving sky now ! I swapped from sky to talk talk few weeks ago only simply to save money but its true what they say, you pay for what you get! Joined just over a year ago. Had a problem with the line called them only to be put through automated system which booked engineer visit. Engineer came, resolved problem and thought that was that.
