    Good Points: None


    Bad Points: Old. Smelly. Horrible


    General comments: Myself and my partner stayed in the Barlevento dingy old and smelly apartments in Puerto Rico. Our room was stinking of stale smoke and when we asked to be moved the manager was not at all helpful and was rather nasty.
    Eventually we got moved and the new room, did not smell of stale smoke, but was just as dingy and had a block of wood holding the balcony door closed..and were only one floor up so it would be easy to climb, plus we faced onto the road.
    The poolside was empty and there were no cushions on the sunbeds...none even to hire out.
    The rooms are dull, old, and make you feel depressed to be in them. The 'reception' is rarely open and they do not want to hear from you if you complain...and there was a queue of complainers when we went up!!!
    I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
