SOnly care when there is cash involved and will do nothing to help. For the moneytarted off good but over past year went very downhill. your better of going with Rackspace or similar. I had two dedicated servers for 2 years. When I signed up I was happy to pay more as I believed they offered a superior level of support and I wanted to keep my business in the UK. An unexplained 24 hour outage occurred a few months into the hosting which after repeated calls and demands to escalate the issue was concluded with the very dubious 'someone unplugged it by accident'. “Terrible company, only interested in money not clients”

As the company grew they have totally forgotten about customers, customer service and caring... for clients. A sad time for a business that is growing to quickly. There are plenty of other great companies out there that can really help and add value to your business… Read Full Review

Disagree, sine joining them a few weeks ago they have been nothing nut helpful and have kept me informed all alone the line, so far I am very impressed with the service they have offered. Accounts Manager allocated easy to get hold of,

Cannot agree with above comments, joined Fastnet 2 weeks ago and boy have they been helpful in moving mw over so far customer service and product has been 100%

“Great service best hosting company I have come across”

This is surely not the cheapest hosting service out there but it is well worth it. In my experience when I have tried to cut corners and skimped it has come back to bite me. So I'd much rather invest a bit more and get the service and support that is essential for my piece of mind. “Feels Like a Car Supermarket Salesmanship”

Been with them for about 5 years and had many account account managers. Support is okay. Prices of your server can increase over time despite the hardware being outdated. Requests for better hardware at the same price will be pretty much ignored and the sales machine will kick into action to have you pay a little bit more.. Expensive really is the word for it. We switched to UK Fast a number of years ago after experiencing various problems with our old server provider. During our time with UK Fast, I have always been impressed with their level of customer care and how easy they are to deal with. Hello, 
I have used UKfast for over a year now so feel able to give an honest 'user' review, initially pleased with cost over RackSpace and promises of great support etc.

One year on and what now?

Support: occasionally exceptional, phone support if a problem very good, ticket system is mediocre, weeks to sort a backup that was failing everyday. 
Account manager: have had three (current one is fine) 
Servers: OK, nothing special. 
Firewalls: Much cheaper than Rackspace, good value.

Moving to a new hosting company is always a big deal. We were with a really bad provider for years, only we didn't realise it, we were told "we have to expect problems", "thats just the way the Internet is", downtime was something we simply accepted as being normal.

I found the whole experience with UK Fast seamless, I wasn't really sure what I was looking for and found the person I talked to really helpful as they asked lots of questions to make sure they found exactly what I was looking for. They know there stuff inside and out and nothing is too much trouble. Prices are on the higher side, but the level of server and the set up they have in place make it value for money. We have broadband internet access, and we hosted our website with UK Fast on a dedicated rack server, and for over 2 years and during that time I can only think of one occasion when the site has been down, and only a couple of occasions when access to the internet has been down. Their reliability is second-to-none, and when we do have a problem their support team are always helpful. Downtime is rare? Do you work for them or are you talking about a different UKFAST. Our servers are down about once a month … and that is totally un acceptable for a serious company.
