The Manchester showrooms are impressive and the quality of the units good but everything else stinks! The designer promised us something which the manufacturer and fitters (we used theirs) seem unable to deliver. Whose fault? We think a combination of the two. Our kitchen was supposed to be fitted at the end Jan 2013. It is now May 2013 and we currently have loads of kit littering our kitchen floor and a collection of unkept promises from shop and fitters that our kitchen will be completed.... (read more)

Firstly, overall the buying service, delivery(both bang on time) etc. was great. As was the fitting and the flexibility of Glen out fitter. It looks great, it all fits together well but it is small details that annoy!(Hence 3 stars not 4). A couple of examples:- Self closing hinges that don't- you have to push the things closed. The kitchen is pretty good but only a little better than B&Q or IKEA etc and definitely not worth the higher price! Unfortunately its the UK part of this firm that lets it down. The Kitchens are beautiful and well engineered. Sadly the UK part of the business is obsessed with hard sell and getting your signature, they don't really care about providing you with your dream Kitchen. We were sucked into this and like many previous reviewers faced delays, incompetence and a basic lack of care from the staff at Kutchenhaus UK. One of the things i found great about Kutchenhaus was how they didnt try the whole hard sell thing on me once so im shocked you felt they were like that with you, surely cant have been the Manchester branch the manager there was very relaxed the whole time and even explained that they wouldnt design in my home because thats the 'hard sell' way of doing things. I would advise anyone interested in a kitchen to their design service for thrmselves and if you feel pressured then you can always walk away

After ordering my kitchen and waiting much longer than i was originally told it would take to be delivered, when it eventually arrived it was completley wrong and parts were missing. Absolutely agree, we ordered the kitchen on 5th May 2012 and it still isn't finished due to one nightmare after another. It's looking like New Year 2013 will see completion of the project. Totally stressful situation - we were left without a kitchen for 5 months due to their incompetence. My brother has also cancelled his order as they added a further 6 weeks onto the initial 10-12 weeks delivery time.
Avoid like the plague unless you are happy to accept dreadful customer service.
The kitchen itself is good quality - what you would expect from Germany. It's when it reaches the UK that the whole experience takes a down turn.

The best part of the service was the team of fitters. The head fitter, Craig, was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. I feel I need to clarify a few points here as I feel Jim has been a little premature.
1. I don't live in a remote area, I live just 15 minutes from Dunfermline, 20 minutes from Perth and Just 10minutes from the M90. Hardly the middle of nowhere.
2. This wasn't a problem when I called and spoke to Kutchenhaus previously.
3. We have no evidence yet that we've been given a discounted price. All we have at the moment is a quote, which is what I originally asked for. There's no proof this is in any way any sort of deal.
4. Jim has been extremely apologetic and for that he has our thanks.
5. I'd have appreciated it if they'd followed data protection correctly and not used my full name in their response.

Disgraceful! The initial experience at the showroom was positive and to be fair after two or three visits we eventually finalised our kitchen layout. After agreement and seemingly a stab in the dark price summarisation by Kutchenhaus, we were somewhat dismayed that payment was only available by finance deals with a third party or payment in total upfront. satisfied with the sales service,design and layout plans, felt comfortable with the process. install date was a little disappointing, area manger helped the process. the best way he could. but the very efficient installation team and the final kitchen install made up for all the wait. would recommend to anyone. the attitude of the install engineers was commendable and left area clean and tidy and could not do enough to accommodate my requests. excellent team of installers. Earlier on this year we had decided that our kitchen needed replacing. We had looked around all the usual providers, DIY stores etc and also bespoke kitchen manufactures. Whilst many came up with semi decent designs the standard of their product left a lot to be desired. Purely by chance we came upon Kutchenhaus in Hull. Our difficulty was that we needed a kitchen built around existing wall and floor tiles. After many months of searching we found kitchenhaus. From the outset we were looked after and all our needs taken into account at the planning stage. Design options were suggested and when we deciding on the finish required, and the choices were many we were never rushed. What you will find is that very soon, someone will write a review and give them 5 * for a fantastic kitchen and service just so that your review does not sit at the top. This company stinks and i am still trying to get compensation for ripping me off. It is now sitting with the financial ombudsman as i am now claimimg against the credit card company. Keep away from kutchenhaus.
