I bought these after my Nicky Clarke slimline lasted all of 6 months before failing to heat up anywhere near a decent temperature. The longer plates are fantastic and it takes less time to straighten. I've got thick wavy hair and they just slide through my hair (not even had to use them on the full temp yet.) After trying GHDs I'd advise anyone to go for these, as they are just as good and less than half the price. Got mine on sale at Argos for less than £30. BRILLIANT

Fantastic Value for money and as good as GHD. Comes with a storage bag with built in heat mat. Bought mine for half the price of GHD's and they work just as well (have had GHD in the past) - absolutely fantastic! The storage bag is a little hard to get the straighteners in

Like many others I was told the GHD are the the kings of straighteners, yet. I heard so many bad stories of GHD I went in search of something else, and boy am I glad I did! In my opinion these are the best value straighteners on around. Shop around to get the best price but you won't be disappointed!! My step daughter borrowed them last night and was shocked to find they're better than her GHDs and is now on the look out for her own pair!

I have both Babyliss Pro 230 and ghd's and the Babyliss gets my hair more gorgeous more quicker everytime! My hair is thick, curly and long and it probably takes about 15 mins to get fantastic results! they make my hair really shiny 2 and easy to get to the back of my hair to get salon quality straight hair! my advice would be between the two save your money and buy the pro230!

They don't glide through my hair like my GHD's did and consequently damage my hair. They have just stopped working after 6 months. I think I'll go back to GHD

These are BRILLIANT straighteners. I bought mine for £35.99 inc P&P
I, like so many others, read the reviews on straighteners before I bought any, and I'm glad I bought these ones. I have naturally curly thick hair that is prone to frizz and it usually takes over 45 minutes to straighten my hair with my old straighteners (GHD). I straightened my hair in 14mins with these (yes I was timing it) and it's left silky smooth every time. The plates don't pull at your hair as much as other ...

Brilliant straighteners. Better than GHDs in my opinion and they are also cheaper. If you're looking for a good hair straightener, good quality, good value then you should DEFINITELY get these! :D

Love these straighteners, even though they've just stopped working on me. I'm still going to go out and buy some more though as they are just that cheap that i can. Plus I'm gonna send them off to get repaired which will probably take ages so I think i'd best get off to the shops now! Otherwise I don't know what I'll do without some tomorrow morning!! I had GHDs until they broke about a day after the warranty expired (just my luck!), so I had to run to the shops with little money to try and find ...

These rock (the pink are just as good as the black.)They now come in pink!! They are cheap. (get them from wilkinsons!) They dont burn your furniture if you accidentally out them on the bed or something. They have long plates to straighten lots of hair. They get my thick, wavy hair straight in half an hour and they don't damage it.
