    I got these Babyliss straighteners for my birthday from argos at £90 odd. I found them really awkward to use, they need to be on the highest setting to get results and you have to be extremely careful when using the steam feature.

    There were two good points, the awesome metallic red colour and the fact that there is a brush built in.

    Over all 3/5, but I wouldn't recommend them.

    I bought this Babyliss Pro 230 Ceramic Hair Straighteners because the reviews were quite positive so I thought I would give it it a try. Well, it didn't work for me; in fact I even burned my skin in the process of using it. It gets very hot even at a low setting (has 10 settings). It did give me a poker straight hair for a few hours after that it went wavy again. I returned the product after about a week and I would not reccomend it to anyone!

    Love these Babyliss Pro 230 Ceramic Hair Straighteners! I have very thick hair and these glide over my hair easily and with great results. I can even curl my hair with them too.

    Wow! I had my hair cut into a A line bob, and sadly my hair all flicked out and it looked awful, I was gutted when someone said I looked terrible and shouldnt of had my haircut. Then my friend recommended the Babyliss Pro 230, at first I was 'what ever' but I was curious, so following the reviews I thought well whats the harm if they are cheap? AND omg, my hair has never been so straight, it stays straight through out the whole day even in damp conditions, I was thrilled with these and was glad ...

    I have just used my Babyliss for the 1st time and didn't realise how awful my old straightners were! I have had comments all day about my hair and have I had it done at the salon! They are great value for money!

    The Babyliss Pro 230 Ceramic Hair Straighteners is the best straightner . My hair is very frizzy and curly but this makes it poker straight, I use it on 8 setting and it lasts , I can do curls with it .really wonderful it makes my hair better than what i get at hairdresser (use hair heat protectant)

    Babyliss Pro 230 Ceramic Hair Straighteners are ok but they didn't keep my hair very straight it went curly straight after.
    Overall good, I like it because it is nice and its good but because i got thick hair they don't keep my hair very straight.

    Love this Babyliss straightener. Was going to buy the GHD, but opted for this because of other peoples reviews, and it was quarter the price of the GHD. Its amazing, it made my hair poker straight, and keeps it that way till the next wash. My fiance has definitely noticed the difference, and compliments me all the time on my gorgeous hair:) I've tried out the GHD before, and this gives the same results. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone considering buying a hair straightener.

    Having read the many glowing reviews on the net decided that the Babyliss Pro 230 Ceramic Hair Straighteners would be the best to go for. After regularly using GHDs at the gym I was looking to purchase a pair of straighteners and all I can say is you get what you pay for!

    The instructions fo use were thin on the ground in terms of how the 1-10 heat dial translates into a temprature setting, the on/off button for the straighteners was exactly in line with my thumb so I constantly felt like I ...

    Babyliss Pro 230 Ceramic Hair Straighteners. Really great hair straightener. Heats up quickly, and hair comes out not just straight but shiny and healthy-looking.
    I have naturally thick and curly hair, which I leave to air dry; I then spend about 5 minutes running these through at 210 degrees, and it stays smooth and straight for about 4 days. I almost bought GHDs, but am very glad I didn't. I've had it for 2 years now and it works just as well as the day I bought it. I'd recommend it to anyon ...

    Easy to use. Good temperature setting and at the beggining gave great results. These straighteners are good and reliable in the 18 months that ive had them but I don't like the fact that they keep the same results for longer. After about 9 months I could tell that the results are somewhat different. They don't straighten very well not and don't give the sleek shiny effect.

    The Babyliss Pro 230 Ceramic Hair Straighteners got really hot and i would recommend them to anyone because you might be able to get more expensive ones like GHDs but you may as well just get these as they are much cheaper and straighten your hair really well i have really really curly/frizzy hair and they straighten it really well and keep it straight for ages after without even using products. They are really worth the money and i dont think you could tell much different from them to GHDs :D

    I really liked mine but they didn't last long; and I don't bang my straighteners around. Wouldn't say don't buy- just, don't lose your receipt, in case you need to make good on the manufacturers guaranty!

    The Babyliss Pro 230 Ceramic Hair Straighteners i bought after my GHD's packed up were a true lifesaving bargain! i got them off amazon for £23 quid!! reduced from £60! i was amazed and as soon as using them, they slided very easily and smooth through my hair, giving my hair a great finish, much better than my GHD's. I would recomend these babyliss pro 230's to anyone!! best straighteners ever!!
    Go for it, you cant go wrong!

    good points are that it heats up quickly and straightens hair properly. very good value for money. works as well as ghd.

    The Babyliss Pro 230 Ceramic Hair Straighteners are excellent value for money. Heats up very quick, gets hot enough to straighten even the curliest hair, also has a very handy sleeve for putting them away when still a bit hot

    I bought these after my Ghd's packed up and as funds are low i needed a cheaper option. I'd read good reviews about this product so went out and bought it, it was a bargain at boots as it had £20 off so total price £39.99. I was disappointed however when i tried them out. The plates didn't seem to touch so it kept painfully catching my hair in the tip of the plates but would touch the hair further up the plates.     I have quite curly, porous hair. I have the Babyliss Pro 230 and I have the new GHD MK4. While they are good for different things, the Babyliss Pro 230 wins it for me, hands down. I find it much quicker, smoother, longer-lasting and less-damaging to my hair.

    I paid 35 pounds at Boots - much better value than the GHD!

    It's really good and should make more straightners like Babyliss Pro 230 Ceramic! It's good valuse for money.
