General comments: My Advent 7000A laptop was a great bargain. If you are buying anything from PC World look online, then before ordering type in NHSdiscounts in the discount box for an extra 5% off whatever deal you have got. This made a brand new laptop just over £330. The software was XP home and Works. You will need some decent anti virus and firewall software before you go online. I have upgraded the standard 256Mb, and it is worth while, as 512Mb is much faster. Unless you have access to some office software and anti virus/firewall, I would look at a better package, but if you have, this is a bargain machine that performs well and does what a laptop should. I added wireless from eBay for about £13, and I would have to say that I am very satisfied overall.
