Good Points: Size, clarity, battery.
Bad Points: Use of buttons.
General comments: I have had 4 phones in the last year. Nokia, Samsung x426, Ericson T226 and now the Motorola V66. Out of all MOTO V66 has been the best. The size is wonderful, I get great reception and I can keep my charge for about 3 days on the average. But then again, I don't talk on it much as I use it mainly for ER purposes. If you are a person who uses it for personal use, I would say GO FOR IT.. but if you're using for business, the keys are not real convenient as they are so small and the way they are set up makes it more hard to use.

My Motorola V66 is killing me. I drop at least 90% of my calls at some point and I doubt it's the T-Mobile service. Guranteed that within five minutes of any call, I will lose reception and have to call the person back.
Also, three of the buttons just don't work anymore and I haven't abused the phone. T-Zone, the volume up button and the menu button all just stopped working after six months.
Additionally, this phone will place a blank text message in your inbox randomly so your messag ...- Read jeffseedman's review (185 words)

I got a Motorola V66 about 3 weeks ago and this is my first mobile phone ever. It was very cheap and for the money that I paid, the phone is outstanding. I have t-mobile service and I have never had a problem with reception. I "trained" the battery as the manual said to do when you first get the phone and my battery lasts a minimum of 3 days without charging. I think this is the perfect phone for the cheap flip phone seeker. Now people who have had more expensive phones in the past may not ...- Read thebigeasy01's review (133 words)

I love the motorola v66. I have only been using it for one year, but so far there is no problem. I even took it back to Africa and the reception was very clear. Since I came back, I have been recieving call from back home and they sound like they are standing next to me. The only problem I have with this phone it that it does not give you many options with the ringtone or allow you to download certain ringtones. Apart from that, The phone is okay.I will give this phone a 7 simply because there i ...- Read vopee87's review (105 words)

This Motorola V66 mobile phone is very convenient. The only problem is the reception. I paid all this money for a plan that I can't use because I have no reception. Similar to the Motorola c332 it has battery problems sometimes! I've gone through three of these phones already. It shuts off automatically on me. It happens in the middle of calls, during texting, or even just from sitting in my pocket. So minus the HORRIBLE and I stress horrible reception, and the poor battery quality it's an all a ...- Read butterfly959's review (107 words)

This phone is great. I bought it as an upgrade from my Nokia 3390. This phone is probably the best phone you could ever buy. If it had Polyphonic Ringtones, It was in color, and it had a camera, it would be THE best phone you ever bought. And the status light on top feature is great. If it's on a beltclip you can easily look down and see if you have a signal, incoming call, etc.- Read thugedout's review (101 words)

The Motorola V66 is cool. It provides lots of features and great reception at a reasonable price. I had a Nokia before, and you could download all the stuff you wanted, but the phone was unreliable with poor reception. People, let's not forget that these are primarily devices to make phone calls- get a Game Boy if gaming is your priority. I have had no problem with the keys- and I have average sized hands. I guess if you're a big guy with huge hands you might have a problem, but most phones have ...- Read tessiestwocents's review (159 words)

The battery last about a day on the Motorola V66, text messaging is impossible with the predictive text system in place so its back to lots of finger tapping.
It looks good but don't be fooled. The V60 is not worth the money.- Read Andy's review (53 words)

Overall, I think that the Motorola V66 is an excellent cellular phone for all people (except the really tech-retentive). It is loaded with features, applications, and much more. It is extremely easy to learn, use, and it lasts very long. Most importantly, it is Tri-Band (800A/800D/1900D), so it can use any network on the GSM or TDMA (US) network (whichever phone you have).
However, like any good phone, it has its bad sidese. The screen is very small, so it is not recommended for people who h ...- Read HondaNSX12's review (214 words)

I bought this phone because it was small, had Tri-band and a flip down front which stopped accidental key-presses for unintentional calls and/or flat battery problems. Other than those good points it was all downhill with very poor texting, no infrared/bluetooth, awkward changeover to 1900MHz for use in USA/Canada, bad menu's. In short I prefer to use my Nokia 8210 despite it's dodgy display and no tri-band.- Read TomStogdale's review (110 words and 2 comments)

On the whole - a good phone with lots of good features.
True - the menus aren't as usable as Nokia's but once you get the hang of them they're ok - customising them helps loads.
Downside is they are just too flimsy. Mine broke within the first couple of months. Motorola were great and repaired it in a couple of days under the guarantee. They even sent a courier to collect it the same afternoon I phoned. Unfortunately - it's now broken again so I'm going back to Nokia. Sorry Motorola - good pho ...- Read the jakey's review (122 words)

I got the Motorola V66 a few weeks ago and have been putting the many features through the tests. The more I play with it the more "gee whiz" functions I find that add value. I love that it fits so easily in my pocket and yet when open it is more comfortable than my old clunky phone. I just purchased the FM radio headset and am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sound of the radio. This phone does everything I need in a surprisingly small package.- Read Phil's review (124 words)

This phone is awesome. The display is the best i've ever seen for a non-color display. I bought my phone off ebay brand new, and I believe it is from Hong Kong. The ringtones are good, and you can add 32 other ones, which is absolutely unbelieveable considering I went from 4 or 5 on my nokia 3390. But the ringtones you add sound a little strange due to the fact that tempo can't be changed. I highly recommend mrtones.com for ANY ringtones for ANY phone. They are all free, and they give you the co ...- Read Jeff's review (148 words)
