Bad Points: Enough

General comments: Ideal Fones, Maldon High Street.Sold us a "new" Samsung phone that ceased to work within two weeks. The phone was sent to the manufacturers for warranty repair. We then discovered from Samsung that this "new phone" had previously been for repair months earlier - before we had even purchased it!When the phone was eventually returned from Samsung it still had the same problem but apparently they were only asked to upgrade the software. Ideal Fones refused to accept there was a problem and refused to exchange or refund with the constant excuse of "not company policy".We then contacted Samsung ourselves and they collected the phone, inspected it and exchanged it for a new one with no hesitation at all.Very rude and extremely poor attitude from Ideal Fones.What Maldon needs is one of the big phone stores to move in to put this company where it belongs.We could write a lot more and needless to say we would never, ever recommend this company.

I went into Ideal Fones in Witham whilst I was visiting my sister. My phone was useless, so I went to ask for advice and ended up buying a new phone, as the sales person was so helpful and friendly. She asked how much I was currently paying and what network I was on, and asked what features I wanted. She then recommended T-Mobile, as it would save me more than I was currently paying. She summed this all up in about 5 minutes, then showed me a phone and pointed out the features I had asked for.
