Cheap & does exactly what it says on the tin
Video & sound sometimes out of step.
If the power is of for more than 30 seconds or so then the clock needs resetting
Well recommend Daewoo DR2100P.
Overall an excellent DVD recorder - well worth the money.

The Daewoo DR2100P is cheap and cheerful, and as with the saying you get what you pay for. But for a cheap DVD recorder it is quite acceptable.

This is my second DVD recorder. The first was a Compak from Kwik Save (Somerfields).
That only lasted a few weeks. I returned it and was offered the Daewoo instead. They were selling it for £89. The machine has performed faultlessly. Easy to set up. I have it hooked up to
a 32" Toshiba 100Hrtz Widescreen TV. The picture watching Sky through the recorder is excellent.
It has played everything I have put in it. Region 1, Region2, Jpegs.

The Daewoo DR2100P DVD recorder is simple to operate with an excellent remote, plus you feel that you get more than what you paid for. The control buttons positioned on top of the unit are an excellent touch. It has an easy to follow set-up. You can record onto both +/- discs, and it has Video Plus.
