Car booked in for 10 days and to be valetted.May 2013. On our return the car had been bumped on the back bumper. We have now been fobbed off by MIA saying that the driver who collected it, bearing in mind we asked him to check it ( no Marks what so ever )said the car was dusty and he was not 100% sure about the damage. That as the car was now clean we perhaps had not noticed it !! What utter rubbish ! Would most certainly not recommend this company ! The customer service is diabolical,they... (read more)

We booked our car in to MIA secure car park on Sharleston Road for eight days in October When we landed we has to wait for fifteen minutes in the pouring rain for a pick up Having got the car back we noticed it had been damaged at the front and the radiator was leaking The manager denied it had happened there We spent three weeks waiting for CCTV evidence which they said didn't pick up our car As a result we lost our no claims bonus and the repair cost over £1,000 I would say don't ever... Booked car parking for 6 days at skypark secure in Manchester. On the evening before we travelled my husband accidently filled our diesel car with petrol and the registered registration plate was no longer acceptable as we had to take our other car. When I phoned on arrival, they had the wrong collection time logged and said they were not expecting me for another two hours. The driver however did come immediately and collect the vehicle. When we returned, the car was promptly returned within 5 minutes although the reason for this soon became apparent when I checked the mileage. I have used MIA Manchester regularly over the past 4 years with no problem until now. Having left my car yet again, as I thought in safe hands, it was a different story when I returned home. I collected my car at the airport, the driver having as we thought, politely left the drivers door open, and drove home. I used Manchester, MIA Secure Parking meet and greet service for this years airport parking, I have used them before with no problems, how ever this time I noticed when I got my car home the rear bumper had been pushed in.
I phoned and queried this straight away and was told it was not there responsibility as they quote in there T&C that once the car is out of there hands I have no claim on them as I should have checked it before taking the keys and that it was damaged before it came...

Do not under any circumstances use MIA secure parking to leave your car for your holiday. When I returned to my car after a weeks holiday the wingmirror was damaged and left hanging off my car. The driver said he didn't know what had happened and to phone the manager in the morning. I did so and have had no explanation whatsoever as to what happened, I have had to get the damaged fixed myself and have had no compensation! (read more)

I booked over the phone. The woman was really friendly and helpful. When I arrived back from my really bad holiday I rang up MIA and I was picked up straight away and I got to my car and it was in perfect condition
I have a Audi A8 and I was worried about my car but when I got to the airport I was really happy and I went on holiday feeling that my car was in the right place. Overall I am very pleased.

I called up a day after my holiday to complain as they had scuffed my car which I could not inspect properly as I picked it up in the dark. I was told that I should have taken a more in depth inspection!!
My Car was clean and I knew it was not scuffed all I wanted was an apology and an explanation as I don't believe it would have been worth the hassle of insurance etc but just got a very rude lady trying to explain the law to me. Would never use them EVER AGAIN!

On returning to pick up our car we noticed scuff marks on the tyres and chips out of the brand new alloys (fitted the week before). We spoke to the man who handed our keys to us who told us he had no authority to sort it and they was no one else there who could, we took pictures of the damage and I rang MIA Secure the next day to be told the manager was on holiday (people who have read all the reviews will find this story familiar) and to ring back later that afternoon as he would be popping... After they had taken us to the airport, we found we had left our video camera in our car. After telephoning them, they very kindly brought the camera to us at no extra expense and very quickly also. Nearly at the front of the checking-in queue I realised I had lost my passport! I used MIA Secure Parking for the first time at Xmas.
I found the service to be commendable until I returned to my car and found they had dented it. I checked the procedure with them and followed it carefully. They took a picture of the damage and told me to expect contact at home from a repair specialist.
I have since found them very difficult to deal with and have despaired of ever getting my car fixed.

With the exception of the mini bus driver, who was excellent, the rest of the staff at MIA are a complete waste of time. They signed a letter accepting the damage was their fault and they would pay all the costs. I sent faxes and made loads of phone calls to get my parking costs refunded, without success. I drive a company car and I think my company may have to take legal action to get the repair bill refunded.

Not a happy experience this time - on the way to the airport, our driver failed to give way at a roundabout and came very close to causing an accident. Our car wasn't ready for us when we returned and the usually friendly staff were obviously having a bad morning - rude and unhelpful. I don't think we'll be using MIA again! (read more)

I delivered a clean car - fair enough you might not expect it to be spotless after two weeks left standing, but it looked like someone had been busy covering it with dust from a stillsaw, and every pigeon in Manchester had done its business on it. Car was damaged whilst within their care. When I discovered damage at the car park upon my return they advised "give it a T-cut". After refusing this I got a letter from them on their headed paper stating they accept that damage took place whilst within their care and that pending 2 quotations they would pay for repair work. Then advised to pay for work as per cheapest quotation. I have paid £165 for repair and now they are not answering my calls nor the calls from trading standards.... (read more)

I booked my vehicle into MIA Secure Parking in April for 1 weeks holiday. On return they informed me that my keys had in their words been misplaced. If this car park has 24 hr CCTV security etc. Why didn't anyone think to look at the CCTV footage to see who was last in the vehicle. If people are unaware that 24 hr security is not 24 hrs then why are they still able to advertise this. My car apparently was not on view by their cameras. I would not hesitate to recommend Manchester MIA Secure Airport parking. They are one of the best car parks for the airport, and they offer an excellent service!
It is within easy reach of the motorway, close to the airport, and the driver was very helpful. The mini bus was very clean, easy check-in and out, quick pick up and great value for money.

On return they did not initially advise us that a window had been smashed (albeit they had replaced it) , radio stolen and drivers air bag tampered with. We decided to go for the meet & greet service at MIA as we we knew we would be pushed for time on our return journey. There was no need to worry the driver was waiting for us at departure and again on arrival. The handover was smooth and uncomplicated and we even noticed that our car had been washed during our trip,Free of Charge!
