Good Points: Delightful surroundings, free sun loungers, good pool plus kiddie`s pool. Pool bar, children`s play area, and lawn. Tennis court for the athletic! The apartments are of good standard, and are always clean. Air condition available for extra charge. My wife and I have stayed here at least 15 times, and we love it!

    Bad Points: None

General comments: The Acharavi Sun Apartments are very quiet, but it only takes 5 minutes to get to the centre of Acharavi, and 15 minutes to the beach. The resort itself has everything, good bars and restaurants, discos and karaoke bars for the youngsters, and quiet bars for the not so young. There is also a large water park about 15 minutes walk away.

The Sun Apartments are perfect if you want a relaxing holiday. The main reception is the pool bar where you will find poor Socrates who runs about after everyone!
Great fella and friendly too. The rooms are cleaned regularly sometimes daily and sheets changed every second day. Although the rooms are basic there is everything you need. Air Con is available from Socrates for a very small fee but worth it. The main drag is just five minutes walk from the apartments with loads of bars and restaura ...

My husband and myself stayed in the Sun Apts from 17th Aug for a week. We had a lovely time. I admit Socrates can be a bit abrupt sometimes but when you hear his workload you can understand it a wee bit. He does work very hard. Also can't fault the maid service. Our apartment was spotless and the maid was in every other day. Also we had a separate key for the air con so we could leave it on all day if we wished. The resort itself was lovely although maybe not lively enough for people with teenag ...

We would highly recommend this accommodation and resort. It is ideal for families, and couples, of all ages. My mum and I spent the week relaxing and were not hassled at all and felt very safe at all times. The people are all very friendly and I would particularly recommend Felorian Bar and restaurant on Acharavi beach, as well as the Adonis bar on the main Acharavi Road. A fantastic place, beautiful scenery. We will definitely be going back very soon!!!

I have been going to Acharavi since 1993 decided to take my daughter back in 1999. We stayed at the Katarine apartments before we found the sun apartments so we went and stayed there a year later have became friends with the guy who runs the place. I have made a lot of friends out there and go back every year. Best place to eat is at the Palm Tree where everyone is friendly and helpful and great value for money also there Greek nights are good too.

Acharavi Sun Apartments is in a nice location. Big rooms, apartments.

Don't be fooled by people rating the Lemon Garden Restaurant, we went and it was a let down and an expensive one at that.

The best place to eat is the Greek Taverna. It has a picture book menu, so you can see the dishes to help you decide what you want to eat. Staff are lovely. It is a family run restaurant and the food is amazing. Great prices and the decoration or the restaurant is very nice.

Also if you hire a bike ...

We stayed in Sun Apartments. It is basic but clean. Maids clean 3 or 4 times a week. Sun Apartments are away from the busy area and it has beautiful surrounding. The pool is bit small and not many sun loungers, considering there are 28 apartments. If your idea of spending the whole day by the pool then you need to grab your place early in the morning.
The location is good and if you are looking for a quiet place then this is one to consider. Lots of restaurants and tavernas are close by, they ...

We had a very pleasant holiday at Acharavi Sun Apartments, perhaps too quiet. The resort is very family orientated. Closes down after Midnight and there were no bars with entertainment, which is vital when trying to keep two teenagers entertained.

Acharavi is a quiet resort but with plenty of eating places and tavernas, the people are lovely and friendly.
The Pumphouse and The Acharavi beach are in my opinion the best places to eat. The Central is a nice place to have a drink and on a Sunday night go see Davey B at the Central very funny. We will be visiting Acharavi again, well worth a return visit.

We had the most fantastic time just recently at the Acharavi Sun apartments. The weather was very hot. Gardens watered everyday and the swimming pool kept immaculate. We ate at the restaurant opposite the Pumphouse - The Oddessyus. Fantastic food and the staff are very helpful in explaining the dishes. We tried the Big Meze - 12 dishes for €15 - very nice.
The best beach was to your right of the Pumphouse, by the Acharavi Beach hotel - the sea has been just like a warm bath whilst we were there ...

Acharavi is a lovely resort. It is generally unspoilt by British tourism, and there is plenty to do and quite a lot of bars and restaurants. Liberty's is one restaurant which you will pass coming from the Sun Apartments onto the main street. The food is superb! Particularly the seafood. We went back three times in 1 week because it was so good. It is never as busy as it should be (probably because it is off the main street), so it's perfect for a relaxed meal. We also recommend Spiros's bar (cal ...

We have stayed at the Sun apartments many times and have had thoroughly great holidays thanks to Socratees and the staff. If you are looking for somewhere quiet and away from the nightlife of Acharavi then here could not be a better place. Its only a short walk to the tavernas (like Theritas) and bars (Whispers!!). I have just found out that you can book direct at Sun Apartments.com
