Good Points: I like the way you open the cover. and i hope if the jpint venture came with a similar design with all these new features in the market. i think it will be a top seller again.

    Bad Points: small screen.

General comments: the best i have ever had, although i have had it for some years now. but my heart is still attached to it.

The Sony Ericsson T28 is a very small light phone. Not fast for texting but very convenient to carry in pocket.

I have an Ericsson T28 for 4 years. During this period 5 time the phone spontaneously turned off and wouldn't turn on again. Had it replaced by warranty. Bottom line, it is very unreliable.
In addition the menu is bad designed, navigaition is unconvenient and takes a long time.

I really liked this phone, mostly for its size. If you're looking for a phone that is convienent to carry around this one should top the list. While reception here in the US, can be a little lacking at times. Reception while traveling in Europe is usually good. This phone is an older disc model, even the T39 I believe has been discontinued here in the US. The T39 is the newer model with features like bluetooth & built in infrared port.
I rated the screen quality low, due to the newer phones wit ...

I think this is an alright phone if you want a phone for wear and tear and another model for style and practicality.
There are a lot of bugs and error messages and the phone loses signal all of the time.
I am comparing it with Nokia so I'm probably a bit harsh with my review but after using Nokia's excellent features I have gone back to them.
I would not recommend this as a phone to buy if you want an easy phone to use and if the coverage in your area is not good.

This Sony Ericsson T28 / T28s is a great mobile phone. I dont know how anyone can say this is rubbish. Its a bit dated now but phones today are getting bigger and bigger and this is so small. Its not tiny, but the slimline design makes it feel much smaller. The menus are fast, it gets great signal and the flip is soo cool!

The Ericsson T28 has been a very reliable phone to me, why everyone thinks theyre unreliable I don't know why, the T28 is still one of the slimmest phones on the market, however I think the big protruding antenna makes it look a bit odd but other than that it is a great phone

"NO NETWORK" or "SOS calls only" are the most frequent text likely to seen on the Ericsson T28 / T28s's screen. If you go anywhere except the open street. ie) Car Parks, superstores, shopping malls, museums, offices, cimemas you'll often get "SOS Calls Only" - while eveyone else using their cheap PAYG phones are enjoying talking freely with full recpetion! An important issue to consider when you get a 'mobile'phone

I've had one of these babies for 2 years and will want to find another if it ever packs in. With the bigger battery it goes for days without charge and it does all I want it to do - receive and send phone calls and text. Voice activation is good, although I would like it to work on more than 10 numbers.
Mine just gets thrown around the car, office etc and still keeps on going - a really rugged bit of kit.

All in all, a real beauty.

The Ericsson T28 / T28s is a great little phone....if you're careful. I'm a little careless...so I've broken the flip off of several of these. Contrary to what anyone says If the flip breaks off noone can hear you. My friends and I had to develop an elaborate system of communication using the tones of the phone. I loved how light weight this phone is and how SLIM it is. The slimness is the best part...especially for guys who hate stuff bulging in their pockets. Finally the connections at t ...

It has a lot of bugs. My own shows "No access" most of the time. I don't have this problem with my other handsets.
Just SIEMENS, it's the best for you.

I loved my phone when I first received it as a gift but after almost a year I am very disappointed. I am about to change the battery for the 3rd time.It just stop working this morning for no apparent reason.
Too many bugs that is the problem

I absolutely loved the look of this Ericsson T28 mobile phone and it's general uniqueness. It is a very durable phone, bearing in mind the countless times I bounced it and the way it lasted! However the slow menus became a pain and the flip lock breaking caused no end of problems.

On my second Ericsson T28s mobile phone and I have no real complaints. The first died after being left in the car overnight at -10 degrees, although did it resurrect itself after a few hours in a warm room. Still looks good, has reasonable battery life (couple of days on average) and gets a pretty good signal strength (not quite on a par with wife's Nokia 3310). Easily the best feature for me is the size and weight. It slips in any pocket and the vibra-alert means it can be always on, even at wo ...

BUGS, BUGS, BUGS..... MANY BUGS! The Ericsson T28 mobile phone turns on and off at will, sends SMS at will.... Maybe that's what Ericsson calls "smart phone"!

The T28 is the high tech phone from Ericsson considering when it was introduced. Even by todays standards this phone is very stylish, small and easy to use. However, there are a lot of new phones in the market which are advanced compared to t28.
I had t28 for 8 months and i was very pleased with it.I changed phone to soon because i am tech freak and get tired
of wearing same phone very quickly. My opinion is that this is a great phone. But this opinion is very much based on a fact that i build m ...

Most of the time " NO NETWORK" is dispayed on my Ericsson T28 mobile phone.
Where exactly do I need to be for my phone to work?
Everyone else around me is busy talking on their phones while my phone has NO service.

All of the above problems. I have had my ericsson T28 mobile phone back to dealer many times, and it goes OK for a little while but soon reverts to its old self. Have asked numerous times for a replacment phone, but the agents for Ericsson are always reluctant to do this even though there is still warranty on the phone. Hopefully Sony will help them lift their game.
