Good Points: It's very written. The prose is moving and poetic. It's a cleverly veiled story of our times, about losing and regaining our souls, of course, not to sound melodramatic about it.
General comments: Nirvana is an excellent novel. Possibly, it's ahead of the curve in many ways. Maybe in ten or twenty years it will be held in high esteem by many people. The writer does quite well in capturing the amazing inferiority of his protagonist and in describing his struggles. A modern novel. Spirituality. Materiality. An incredible struggle. For enlightenment. For the collective soul of America. Read it! That's all I can say.
