“Awesome service with the products I needed!”

I really liked the range of products on Zings website. It was recommended to me by a member of the marching band I am a member of. I immediately found the products I wanted and although they were originally out of stock (I was ordering a larger quantity) they arrived quickly and I got constant updates as to the progress of my order. We have been using Zings for a few years now and have always found them extremely easy to deal with. Their customer service is excellent, they are always courteous, prices are competitive and delivery is fast. Stock items are despatched quickly and if a product is not available straight away then an accurate lead time is always supplied, and followed up. I was dubious about the service from reading reviews online- these we're from a few years ago when apparently the company was owned by someone else. I spoke to someone called Tim at Zings music and he reassured me. I needed some basic ukuleles in various colours as quickly as possible. The help I got from Tim was brilliant and the stock Zings held was good. Tim assured me the order would be processed as soon as my email order was received. And it was. The goods were delivered the next day by the very efficient carriers they are using. I had purchased a Ohana SK35G in December last year, it was playing beautifully, then about a month ago i had serious issues with the C string. Zings went to incredible trouble to track down and supply a damaged small part for a sporano saxaphone that was the difference to having an instrument to give a child joy to learn on or having an instrument fit for the bin.
They were helpful diligent and knowing that it was a second hand instrument to form a Christmas present got the part to me 2 days before Christmas. Their great service will make someone very very happy in 48 hours time.

I am very unhappy with the service I recieved from Zings Music. Firstly the drum that I ordered, which I was told would take 3 weeks to arrive, actually took 3 months in the end, as it had to be aquired from Brazil. I was not updated about this chamnge in status and had to continually ring up to find how much longer it would take! Everytime I called they just stated it would be another 2 weeks!

The Zings Music Ltd website looked very professional and the item was in stock with 1-2 days delivery. I received a confirmation email and excitedly began waiting for my new guitar to arrive. Then on the day I was expecting the delivery, I instead got a phone call telling me that if I wanted my order I would have to pay around £30 extra, because the item was out of stock and the prices had gone up. Ordered a whole guitar package for my son on Monday morning. Wednesday afternoon I had still heard nothing so checked online and my order was still at the 'processing' stage.
Phoned them and they said the guitar was out of stock and I would have to wait 7 to 10 working days!

Useless customer service, no feedback and they never seem to have anything in stock. I suspect that they are just resellers and do not hold stock.

I would strongly advise you to go elsewhere, it's worth the extra few... (read more)

Ordered violin on 1st May. Received confirmation email. Nothing since. Phoned today to be told that they were waiting for stock, due end of the week. Delivery seems to be 7 - 14 days after that. The terms and conditions on order processing are unclear in that respect. Anyhow, Zings Music never told me they were out of stock or when new stock was expected. Had they had done so, I would have cancelled my order and gone elsewhere straight away.

no, even if you register with their site you still get your order stuck at the 'processing' stage for days on end with no explanation that the item isn't in stock!! Just go somewhere else!

First attempt at an order failed when Zings telephoned to say that the website was incorrect in stating free postage and expected me to pay the additional £8.50. I would have expected them to admit their mistake, correct the website and not charge on this occasion. They were insistent that I had to pay, so I cancelled the order.

Rang Zings Music Ltd before Christmas to check stock level of an item I wanted, was given an honest reply indicating none were available and the item I wanted was exteremely unlikely to be available before Christmas.
