    Good Points: None.


    Bad Points: Now I don't have the guitar I ordered, it's the best part of a week later and I have to start looking again for a different site. Real waste of time. Really unprofessional.


    General comments: The Zings Music Ltd website looked very professional and the item was in stock with 1-2 days delivery. I received a confirmation email and excitedly began waiting for my new guitar to arrive. Then on the day I was expecting the delivery, I instead got a phone call telling me that if I wanted my order I would have to pay around £30 extra, because the item was out of stock and the prices had gone up. This figure was also distorted by not initially telling me that the additional VAT was not included. Disappointed and thoroughly disheartened, I cancelled the order. Massive inconvenience.

    Ordered a violin from here with some trepidation after reading some other comments here. But I am pleased to say it arrived on time (five working days) and it was much cheaper than elsewhere on internet. Also, if you read amazon uk reviews of zing they seem to be mostly good.

    Ordered a whole guitar package for my son on Monday morning. Wednesday afternoon I had still heard nothing so checked online and my order was still at the 'processing' stage.
    Phoned them and they said the guitar was out of stock and I would have to wait 7 to 10 working days!

    Useless customer service, no feedback and they never seem to have anything in stock. I suspect that they are just resellers and do not hold stock.

    Ordered violin on 1st May. Received confirmation email. Nothing since. Phoned today to be told that they were waiting for stock, due end of the week. Delivery seems to be 7 - 14 days after that. The terms and conditions on order processing are unclear in that respect. Anyhow, Zings Music never told me they were out of stock or when new stock was expected. Had they had done so, I would have cancelled my order and gone elsewhere straight away.

    First attempt at an order failed when Zings telephoned to say that the website was incorrect in stating free postage and expected me to pay the additional £8.50. I would have expected them to admit their mistake, correct the website and not charge on this occasion. They were insistent that I had to pay, so I cancelled the order.

    Rang Zings Music Ltd before Christmas to check stock level of an item I wanted, was given an honest reply indicating none were available and the item I wanted was exteremely unlikely to be available before Christmas.
    Waited until the New Year before ordering online. Confirmation emails received from Zings immediately. Shortly after received another e-mail pointing out that I needed a power adaptor for the item I was buying, 'had I forgotton to order it or didn't I need one' I was asked. Good on ...
