Good Points: Looks good
Battery lasts ages
Nice screen
Bad Points: No memory
Back cover comes off easily
General comments: the Motorola PEBL is a great looking phone and it comes with good features such as video capture and mp3 ringtones. The trouble is, it doesn't have the memory for these. There were 2 pre-loaded videos which you can't delete and there is simply no room for anything else!
Otherwise, it looks great and feels great and the battery lasts for ages. Have had this phone for 18 months and just replaced it with Samsung G600 with expandable memory - what a difference!

Personally, I've loved mine for the most part. In my house I barely get 1 bar of service with my Samsung phone, so I switch my SIM card into the Motorola PEBL, and it keeps almost a full signal. I barely ever have to charge my phone, and have downloaded quite a few games and ringtones. The camera and video quality is poor, and it's a little unnerving that the phone flips open if you drop it. Also, the fingerprints get really annoying after a while.- Read jestek19's review (104 words and 1 comment)

The Motorola PEBL is a nice smooth, easy to handle phone and fashion accessory but it has poor reception. I would have probably been ok on o2, as this is the network I had before T-Mobile offered me a good deal. I had Nokia phones in the past and must say they are easier to use, will be going back to Nokia and o2 once contract expires.- Read ashdan's review (67 words)

The Motorola PEBL is a swish looking and feature packed mobile phone, and it is very comfortable to hold and use, but that's it.
If ever you need it to actually make a call or receive a call, then don't bother! The reception strength is extremely poor, and my battered 10 year old Nokia 5110 wipes the floor with it. Using the same Sim card, my Nokia had full signal strength - 5 bars, but the PEBL had one bar, and on a few occasions it had no signal at all.

I bought the Motorola PEBL mobile phone around 4 weeks ago and it's great! Not the best, but it's great. I really don't care about the memory, but it's pretty good anyway. I have been able to fit at least 4 full MP3 formatted tracks on it, and as I won't really be using the phone for music, I couldn't care less, but keeping in mind that I have 4 full MP3 tracks, I still have enough memory for 11 videos and for around 100 pictures. Now that's pretty good!!
The screen is the clearest I have see ...- Read Cuts's review (198 words)

Basically, to avoid sounding like a complete moaner. If you want a phone that looks nice and that you can put that favourite tune on from your PC and use it to make and receive calls, then the Motorola PEBL is for you! I'm constantly texting, and you can't beat a Nokia!! I am returning my Pebl as the hinge is loose, and this is the second handset in 3 weeks! I will be returning to the ol'faithful Nokia!- Read mariajane123's review (143 words)

The only good thing I can say about the Motorola PEBL mobile phone is it looks cool. It's a lot of money to spend on a phone that doesn't do as much as what other phones do for a cheaper price.
I accidentally dropped the PEBL from about an inch off the ground. It was a feather of a drop, and now the play video footage is dodgy, and the camera too. I would go for a Samsung D500 over this phone any day of the week. Motorola have messed up with this model big style. It cost £180 and it do ...- Read mimmer's review (140 words)

The smooth front on the Motorola PEBL mobile phone is nice, and the way you slip it up takes getting used to hold on to phone tight, as it flipped out of mine and my husbands hands when we did it, but once you get used to it it's great. There is hardly any memory! I uploaded a photo and 1 MP3, and the memory was virtually full. I couldn't even save a photo I took on the actual mobile.
Once again the Motorola has that little delay when doing anything on the phone. It's small, but once you noti ...- Read w2pay's review (275 words)

I have had my Motorola PEBL mobile phone for a week, and when someone called me, on the outside screen I could see the person calling, but when I opened the phone the screen inside was switched off. I had to take the battery out to reset it. Then the day after, a message came through via text, and the phone reset itself and the message was lost. This phone gets dirty very quickly. I have got a body glove, but this won't allow you to open the phone. I give up!! The picture quality is poor. The me ...- Read fairmaiden3200's review (257 words)

I just got the Motorola PEBL for my Girlfriend on a free upgrade at the end of her contract and she is very happy with it. Previously having Nokias all her life I was worried that she would struggle with the new menu systems but it seems that she has taken to it like a duck to water.
She was very pleased that she could set her favourite MP3 tunes as her ringtone and is always striking a pose when she takes the phone out and flips it open using only her thumb. When copying some songs over for ...- Read Jarrad's review (266 words)

I decided to go for the Motorola PEBL as everyone was raving about how great it was and it looked pretty damn beautiful so I thought why not! I'm now on my second brand new handset within 3 weeks and am sending it back to Orange. The first handset froze on the very first day and continued to until it either a) decided to rectify itself or b) I took the battery out and loaded it up again. As mentioned by other users, it gets so dirty! I am constantly cleaning it, trying to remove smudges and suc ...- Read generalmarshall's review (318 words)

What a great mobile phone the Motorola PEBL is. I have had it for about two weeks now, and I could not be happier.
The reception is great (I am with O2). The phone fits into my bag easily. Texting is fast and accurate, with a helpful facility (not T9), that makes a suggestion for finishing your word for you.
Polyphonic and real tones are available, with better than normal choices already on the phone. The camera good but not excellent, but it does have a zoom facility. It also has a gre ...- Read babrahams's review (157 words and 2 comments)

I bought the Motorola PEBL because I fell for the super looks of the mobile phone. There is nothing quite like it around. However, perhaps because I was expecting something a bit special, I am just slightly disappointed with it after getting used to it now.
The good stuff...
The easy and clever hinge arrangement means that you can open it quickly one handed, but it's easy to drop as the weight suddenly shifts. I like the screen, good colours, the camera is super, the video is average for ...- Read sjhartland's review (689 words)

What a phone! I love the Motorola V6, one of the plusses, is the great design and never ending plethora of features.
Whats this phone got going for it then? What hasn't it got??!! It's got a superb camera and video camera function. Bluetooth is also present, and I never have a bad signal or reception. It's also a sturdy little gizmo, I dropped it, and no damage was done.
Do Motorola make great phones? Hell Yeah!
Would I recommend this to you? Oh Hell Yeah!!!- Read Stone Cold Steve Austin's review (86 words)
